Should be an ESPN decision based on which match up will be higher rated. I've gotta believe a UND-Wisconsin game has a good shot at getting the night game. Would a potential Michigan-Denver match up move us up to the early game?

For those of you in town with time to kill, I recommend checking out Midco Arena on Augustana's campus. I stopped by and was able to walk in today. It is fabulous. It's no wonder Raboin wants to stay in Sioux Falls.

I get it. But I fear it would just be too easy for them to make that swap. Plus Duluth & Mankato would fill some seats in Sioux Falls. I'm planning on Sioux Falls. I just have this uneasy feeling it could shake out this way.

How much of a guarantee is it that we get placed in Sioux Falls? Do we automatically get placed there as the #2 overall seed since it's the closest regional to Grand Forks? If Duluth wins and you look at bracket integrity, the committee could make one minor change by swapping Denver (6) and Dartmouth (7), and put UND in Loveland with Denver. Then they could give the Sioux Falls regional to W. Michigan along with Mankato, Duluth, & Wisconsin.

Any thoughts on game time for next Thursday if/when we get placed in Sioux Falls? I believe it's the top seed's choice, correct? If so, does UND take the early game for more rest, or late game to get more fans in the seats?

There are tons of tickets available.

We need to hope one of the lower-ranked ECAC or Hockey East teams (Clarkson, Princeton, Harvard, Merrimack) pulls off an upset and wins their conference tournament. If one of them do, that should be our opponent in Sioux Falls.

Verhoeff had a really rough game. Bad turnovers. Not a great effort to clear the crease on the rebound goal. Not surprised he had the worst +/-. I'm not sure if there at TOI stats anywhere, but it seems like he probably leads the D-men along with Jake. Even prior to last night, I have a hard time seeing how he continues to get so much ice time. Aside from a really good shot, I fail to see much else where he really stands out. I get that he is young, but I would expect more from a guy who is being mentioned as a top 3 potential draft pick.
