Score a PPG or two and this game turns out better. Still got massively outplayed in that 1st. Proud of this group. They helped bring ND hockey back.

Bass is really thumping during warmups. Walked from the hotel to the arena with Bryn’s parents. I told them how the fan base was stoked with his offseason. They said the “fun has just begun”.

So many UND fans here. Great to see!

Almost to Vegas. Got the kid skipping school for a couple days so that he can experience his first Frozen Four. Go get em boys in green!

Another business trip!

There was a post on GPL that said currently UMN has 12 returning forwards, 6 possible incoming forward recruits, and 3 possible forwards coming from SCSU. Doing some quick math, that's 21 potential forwards for next year. Larson is gonna have to cut a pile of players or delay a bunch of them (which might lead to more decommits). Gonna be a real interesting portal season to watch.

If it's true that all these SCSU players are following Larson to UMN, SCSU might be in the hurt locker next season for the NCHC race.

It's gonna be difficult for some UMN fans if he starts getting a few Canadians on their roster.

I would love to see the CHL studs reject any UMN offers after decades and decades of UMN anti-Canadian arrogance.

Combine the rosters of two sub .500 teams and see how they do. Burnevik can fire the puck, he'll score wherever he goes. Henricks would be a great pickup. Defense will still be an issue at UMN even with the potential Henricks addition unless they revamp everyone else. Probably one of the worst d-corps at UMN in years and their record reflected it.

Would be weird if they pushed out Grimes even if they grab a couple out of the portal. He had a really solid USHL season in SF. UMN could have gotten rid of 3/4 of their current d-corps and been better off with Grimes + some portal additions.

Yeah something is afoot in "hockey valley". Even with a couple of the pro signees, they were still only a few solid additions from portal/CHL from being good again next season. All the unexpected departures signals something else.
