  1. 1 SOG this period so far for UND. That's not gonna get it done.
  2. Strinden crushes the post. That would have been nice.
  3. 2-1 UND after 1 SOG 5-4 UND, not much offensive flow. UND 0/2 on the PP with no shots.
  4. Also, Menghini with his first assist in a UND sweater on that play.
  5. Definitely a nice first UND goal for Klee...nice toe drag and then a rifle into the far corner. 2-1 good guys
  6. Man...really hope that Zmolek, Rickwood, and Jubenvill are cleared prior to the Mercyhurst series. Otherwise with WJC and possibly Spengler Cup players gone, things might be a bit complex.
  7. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-senior-ben-strinden-on-his-big-november-ive-always-had-a-belief-in-myself
  8. Goofs beat OSU 6-3. Also, Miami's big goalie recruit looks closer to getting his NCAA eligibility: https://viewfromtheglass.com/2025/11/30/miami-belpot-wrap-up/ And Miami still hasn't picked their captains for the year??
  9. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-awaiting-hockey-canada-decisions Crazy to me that the players couldn't just make the trip to the Canada Camp on Sunday 14th rather than miss one or both Omaha games. I guess we'll see what happens.
  10. In case anyone was interested in making a contribution to the 1883 Collective before the end of year, I got this email today:
  11. The whole freshmen class is outstanding IMO. Not a "miss" in the group from what I can see. A few studs and a few guys that are going to be fantastic college players in their JR/SR seasons. Guys like Ollie and Zakreski are going to be really fun to watch as upperclassmen. Speaking of upperclassmen...agreed about the earlier take that would love to see Menghini get rolling a bit. That wide open net post shot on Saturday is how his season has gone so far...hopefully he can turn it around and start getting some goals/points.
  12. Due for another early then.
  13. Expect a similiar lineup this weekend as last weekend against BSU: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-expecting-similar-lineup-to-last-weekend
  14. Updated Commit Stats as of Dec 1: BSchultz continues his hot hand, with 5-2-7 in last 5gp DeMars and McKamey both score their 1st goals of the season Simpson 3rd in USHL points and 1st in assists MacKenzie back in the lead for WHL dman points Forwards B. 15. Committed goalie Heil on the prelim roster too. We can hope so! Show them that he should have been there too.
  16. Big road NCHC series coming up against SCSU. UND is up to #7 in the NPI while SCSU is at #14. Always hard to sweep on the road, then factor in their big sheet and their potent PP. SCSU has one of the best PP in the nation, currently at 31.3%. Have to slow down Burnevik...6 of his 11 goals are on the PP. Pretty big drop off in points after their top 3 of Gross, Burnevik, and Hall (18, 17, 16 points)...the next player has 8 points.

  18. Congrats @RedFrog! Knew that would be the winner for you with how Ben's been scoring lately.
  19. UMN is not a good team this year...they will miss the tourney with their inconsistent play...but they manage to sneak out a win they shouldn't every now and then. Hopefully they knock off Mich and MSU once or twice this year as well to help us out.
  20. Agreed that BSU isn't a bad team this year. I would say that they are rarely a bad team...but they are frequently a trap team that is boring to watch play. This year they have more offensive talent that can drive the play, for sure. That said, I'm glad that this weekend is past UND and they managed to snag a couple wins. BSU will win their fair share of games this year and will probably challenge for the CCHA title. These two wins this weekend will help our NPI come tourney selection time.
  21. 3-1 Goofs Hockey gods angry at DU I guess.
