    From what I've watched, they are not as good as last year. But they are still very good and could certainly go on a run. They've improved as the season has progressed. Five of their eight losses happened in the first two months of the season. Last year they just dominated teams. Bump would get on the ice and just take over. Their two JR transfers Wisdom and Whitelaw have been great for them this year helping take over some scoring.

    Yes for sure. And if UND wins the league, would we rather face UNO or ASU in the first round? ASU has the better top line, for sure.

    I’m hoping ASU pulls off an upset on Friday to eliminate DU right off the bat.

    Huge huge series for both teams. Both fighting for both the Penrose and to retain/solidify their #1 seeds in the NPI. Will probably the best team that UND has faced all season, and it comes on the last weekend of the regular season. Should be a doozy!

    I'm interested to see how UND matches up against WMU this year. Last year it wasn't close unfortunately. I'd guess that there's a good chance we'll see them later in the NCHC tourney as well. For the NCAA, I think Mich, MSU, WMU, and DU are the main teams that I hope UND avoids in regionals.

    A day after the big blowout, OSU was up 4-1 on PSU. It's now tied at 4 with 10min left to go in 3rd.

    One point against WMU clinches share of Penrose. Two points gives them Penrose outright. Take it to 'em, boys!

    They could still finish 2nd. But they couldn't win the Penrose.

    Agreed. Very opportunistic. And Burnevik & Gross are a tough line. Not as skilled as the Plante UMD line, but grittier. They'll be a tough out in the NCHC tourney if they play like this moving forward.

    Best part about moving the NCHC tourney to home sites is that this isn't the end for the seniors at the Ralph. Still some games to go in front of the home crowd!

    ASU needs to save some of these goals for next weekend. Would love for them to steal some points from DU to make things a little easier on us.

    I called it on the Homer start. Just had a hunch, especially with senior night.

    I watched the 3rd period and OT of the CC/WMU game last night. Seemed like the puck was in the Western end for the majority of that time. Hampton had to make some tough saves to prevent CC from winning that in regulation.

    I'm still optimistic that this team will win the Penrose and get a #1 seed. One more loss and we'll drop down to #12! Give or take.

    The forum is acting as lethargic as the teams play in the 2nd period last night.

    This team can be downright dominant at times, but it's been a while since they have done that for over a period in a game. Would be nice to have a big showing tonight and win by 2+ goals, but with how tight games are at the end of the season, that might be difficult. Would be great to just see a better defensive effort overall. Any bets on if Homer gets the nod tonight?
