I’d love to see it, but I doubt ASU is held to only one goal all weekend. Their PP is potent.
-
My thoughts as well. Homer has looked better his last few starts when compared to his early season. It's still Jan's net for the foreseeable future, but I can see Homer getting a start one of the games.

Homer returns to ASU wearing green this time: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/unds-gibson-homer-an-elite-learner-on-and-off-the-ice?fbclid=IwY2xjawPfxUBleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETFjajFONG1NWHNsdzhxUHhoc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHndIcqgbj3iGBafD2D0Flu23bnHcCIQSu5BERyFhsOstsn7ZBi5az2MB-GXF_aem_duzr8dIJbp4WFTcL_20HyA

Yeah Schloss mentioned that on his weekly podcast.

Potter is a loss for ASU for sure, but Schimek and Lucius are the two I fear more on ASU's roster. Those two on the PP is deadly. Similar to UMD's top line, if you can keep those two off the scoresheet, I like our chances.
-
Maybe next year they should go 100% USports instead of 60% like this year.
-
UNO is desperate. They just added a dman to their roster in late January. He was previously playing this season in the ECHL and AHL: https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/483627/ryan-mccleary

I hope so! I see him again on Friday for pre-gaming before the ASU game. Maybe if he gets a few drinks in him, he’ll loosen up a bit with his responses.
-
Carels and Preston would be my “dream duo” as well. DuPont if Carels somehow falls thru.
-
Like ships passing in the night. Bummed I’ll miss ya on both this trip and for the Miami series!
-
I'll be there on Friday night. My first time at Mullett.
-
Carels was one that I mentioned specifically when he said that. He just smiled but didn't confirm either way. He knows, just didn't want to tell me names. Yes for this fall.
-
Heard from a source close to the team today that a couple big name CHL guys have "silent commits" to UND that will be announced after their seasons are over.
-
Yeah it was on the last TTD episode after the Fri night CC OT loss.
-
Yeah. Wonder how his timeline will work out…probably 2-3 more seasons before he’s at UND depending on how he progresses?

2025-26 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Wiebe's rights have been traded to Calgary: -
Totally.

Who's obsessing? Simply stating that we're at #3 now isn't obsessing, it's just stating a fact. We're still in great position...and a far better position than we have been in since the Kawaguchi days. Team looked good this weekend despite the split...deserved more than 3pts. Work on fixing the PP and a few mental lapses and all is good. As you said...chill out.

Move down to #3 in the NPI with the loss. Now UM and MSU at the top.
-
This, for sure.
-
Dang. Now that’s a prediction. That series against Western will be tough. And the UMD series as well. But I like your thinking.
-
Agreed, that was similar to the ASU loss. Dominated them for most of the game, but a few miscues end up in our net on their limited chances. Keep moving forward.
