Wonder if McKamey will stick around with the Vees moving to WHL or if he'll go to USHL...would be nice having him in Fargo to watch him develop closer:

Pritchard indeed heading to the Goofs.

I don't think anything was a foregone conclusion prior to the job posting ending. They still went thru all the interviews and whatnot. If it is indeed Smaby, there is no posturing, they are just waiting for him to finish his season with Waterloo. They don't want the distraction of that being announced while they are still in their playoff run. And if it is Smaby, I'm wondering / hoping that the McMorrow rumor is also true.

I would agree with this. Boisvert probably has a higher ceiling at the NHL level, but he's not someone that drives the offense consistently. He has an elite shot, no question. But I only remember him having one goal off a rush that he created, and that was the ASU OT goal when it was 3x3 with more open ice. -

I think Mac will follow the Kawaguchi progression in college. Both came in after great junior careers. Both struggled at times their FR seasons, but put up very similar numbers (Mac 2-16--18 & Kawaguchi 5-14--19). Jordan developed into one of the best forwards in college hockey by the time his JR/SR seasons rolled around. I could see Mac doing something similar. So did ASU. ASU lost 7 of their top 10 scorers (including their entire top 5) as well as both of their starting goalies. NCHC could be anyone's guess next season with all the teams that lost significant players. -
It won't be. It's a nice thing for the indy's to keep their seasons going just a few more games though.

Dang. Wonder if his brother follows him now:

Would hope that Jax will run a different program in regards to playing time. We’ll see I guess.

This is an odd one: https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/417574/jack-mesic Played for Ferris St his FR year, then transferred to WMU for this past season. Only played in 5 games for WMU this year, so now he's transferring back to FSU.

We have a few depth forwards already. I would prefer one high end player from the CHL and one really high end player from the CHL. That would put us at 6 FR forwards, but it'd be great to have three solid scoring lines. We'll see how Bryn finalizes this roster...

Doing some light reading.

I found it more humorous that a website ranked BGSU recruiting class #1 in the nation. Especially when we don’t know how any of these mid level CHL players will adapt to NCAA hockey. Or the fact that the recruiting season is still months from being over for this fall.

https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/schlossman-ncaa-teams-are-running-into-roadblocks-with-some-chl-players Goalie situation set for a few years now: -
In an earlier podcast, Schloss had mentioned the OHL silent commit and called him a "mid-tier" player or something along those lines. So hopefully not too big of a loss, and hopefully Bryn can find a comparable (or better...or MUCH better) WHL player to take his spot.

And now...Zellers is also USHL PotY as well. That makes back to back USHL FotY and PotY at UND.
