I wonder how much the Rucks timeline will differ if they happen to get drafted by different teams. If that happens, I wonder if they consider sticking around in NCAA until they become UFAs. More than likely not gonna happen, but an interesting possibility for them.

Yeah agreed with all that. I think there could still be one (or more) forward openings for next year if some forwards this year aren't happy with their playing time or role (like Littler). Especially if a chipper CHLer is available and willing to come in...make room for him, like @cberkas said.

Schneider is a fine pickup for UMN, but I lol'd when I saw that PuckPreps listed him as a 5-star. If Schneider is a 5-star, then Fitzhenry must be an 8-star.

DuPont signing is certainly huge for Michigan. Have to think he stays for two years even if he goes #1 next summer, such a young dman and he's not overly big. Having him and Perron, both excellent puck handlers/carriers, on the PP this season is going to be absolutely lethal. They'll be fun to watch, but I'm hoping someone takes them out before they make it to the F4. Heck, I wouldn't mind if Spoons "pulls a Hunwick" on them in the NCAA's.

Yep, agreed. Also, as has been mentioned here many times before...chippahs LOVE to play with chippahs. And now we all of a sudden have a lot of studs scheduled to arrive on campus for 26/27 and 27/28. So, if any of our current guys have any doubt about making the jump from NCAA to NHL or have some things that they still need to work on...or just want one more year of "college fun" before becoming pro...then playing with the likes of Fitzhenry and the Rucks next fall would certainly be appealing.

I’ve seen multiple comments about them needing to put on weight and work on their skating. Both things that can easily be worked on over 2-3 seasons in the NCAA.
