They really don't want to call a major on Duluth.
-
So at least we have a couple weeks to win one of those then.

That's game. QU gets swept by Clarkson in their series.
-
Clarkson up 4-3 on QU with 5min left in game. Clarkson already leads the series 1-0
-
Two members of Axis of Evil already golfing. Can’t complain about that.
-
Right? Last time Sandy split them up it lasted less than 10min. Ha.
-
Dang this team can’t catch a break with these illnesses. Hopefully they get that out of their system (literally) before NCAAs.

Man, I can’t recall of a bigger soph slump bust in the last decade looking at Boisvert’s season. Some were thinking he’d be a Hobey front runner with BUs talent and more offensive style. Three goals, with one being an ENG? If he had returned to UND, I’d have thought 25+ goals would be a reasonable expectation. Just crazy. I know he was injured for a bit, but that’s such a huge drop in production.

Think of this year as a learning curve. Next year hopefully they take some lessons on game times, ticket prices, etc.
-
That’s got to sting a bit, seeing your old team sitting high in the NPI while your new teams season is cut super short. And realizing that they might have been part of the problem with UND last season.
-
Dang did that team underwhelm all season. So talented but so young. And that ends the ncaa careers for Boisvert and Omac.
-
ECAC tourney full of upsets. They have a really good shot at adding a 4th team to the NCAA's at this rate.

CHN stats have TOI listed on their stats page now: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/stats/team/North-Dakota/40

I bet the fans that are there will be interested.

My thoughts too.

Another one of the 06/07 is off the list with O'Neill now too. I had never anticipated him coming this fall, I thought one more year of juniors would help round out his offensive game. With UND asking him to come in 2027, my guess is that Bryn has something good lined up. Otherwise you would have just elected to bring in O'Neill instead of potentially losing him. I'm still guessing both Schultz come in along with Simpson this fall, leaving Sanderson as the last 07 forward recruit to come in for 2027. So that leaves a couple forward spots up for grabs with four seniors departing and maybe a portal entrant. Can't wait to see who Bryn has lined up for those spot(s).

Huge loss for SCSU, he had a monster year for them:

Perron on hat trick watch against Notre Dame.

Hopefully the refs don't bite on the embellishment that is sure to happen.

Right? Even if a reporter asks you your pro plans for end of the season, you give the canned response of "just thinking about the current NCAA season and will think about pro after the season is over" or something like that.

Will be interesting to see how he does going directly from U18 team to NCAA. Works for some, but not others. Bob is going the BU route and bringing in some more young forwards...we'll see if it works out as well for UMN as it did this year for BU.
