Agreed on the magic being gone. More just want to see them wearing them, as they look sweet. Either all black or all green breezers/socks.

My thoughts for tonight: -Put lines back to same as Fri night UMN game. -Net front presence on PP, no more just passing back and forth up top...get shots on net and try to bang home rebounds. -Business suits. -Spunar in net? Would have been easier to give Spunar the nod tonight had they won last night, so I doubt it'll happen. -Cut down on defensive lapses in front of our net. -Get the damn split.

I was thinking that as well. There's been so many "upsets" already this year and I think we're gonna keep seeing them with all the new CHL rules and whatnot. So many teams that were ranked high in the polls to start the season have not had an easy beginning to the season. BU is at 2-3-1. Providence 1-2-1. UMN 2-4-1. Maine 2-2-1. And then other teams Miami 5-0-0, PSU 6-1-0, Michigan 7-1-0, UMass 5-1-0, UMD 6-1-0 all have great records to start, but most have played a pretty cakewalk schedule to start the season. Michigan got a loss after they finally played a decent team. I think it's gonna be much harder for a team to really dominate this year like what we saw with WMU last year. We'll see. That said, UND absolutely needs to do their part tomorrow. 4-2-0 sounds a hell of a lot better than 3-3-0.
-
Need to salvage a split before UMD comes to town the following week...as they look more legit this year and I don't think our defense is at a point where they can shutdown the Plante line.
-
Makes sense with how many titles the Big Ten has won. Just bad darn luck that you picked this one to watch then!

This was like going into the future and watching the BSU series. That is how Clarkson plays...clogging up everything.
-
At least we helped get Clarkson's PP back on track. Three of their goals were from in tight. They didn't beat us with skill, they beat us with grit. You could tell they came out with the mindset to get in UND's head and make us take penalties. Every whistle they were right in front of Homer, hoping for a reaction. If our PP was better than horrible, we could have made them pay early for that. Tomorrow...maybe Spunar? Also, need to defend much better in front of the net and take away those rebound chances. Need that split tomorrow otherwise we're in a hole at the beginning, just like last year.
-
You know what that means....
-
Or, conversely, if we had a PP and Homer worked on his rebounds, we could be up 6-2.
-
Hopefully with a split tomorrow and not a sweep like against Cornell.
-
Not sure what happened after the Fri UMN win, but the boys haven't really looked the same since.
-
23-15 Clarkson now
-
Can't believe that Clarkson gets the PP out of that nonsense in the corner. How?
-
Looks like 7.
-
Why is Clarkson gooning it up with a 2 goal lead?
-
BU up 4-3 on UConn, Omac with 2 goals. UMD up 2-0 on UMN.
-
We play poorly?
-
He's made some decent saves (like on the breakaway earlier), he's just not good at rebound control, especially off his glove.
-
This is so so bad. Clarkson hasn't scored a PPG all season...of course have two already tonight. Get Spunar in there at this point, he couldn't do any worse.
-
UND getting slightly more zone time as the period has gone on, but it sure hasn't amounted to anything. Not even a solid chance that I've seen.
-
Maybe we'll get to 10 SOG before the 2nd period is half over.
-
ENG for Swanson as time expired against UMN in the Fri game.
-
PP again. Doubt it will matter with how our PP has been.
