  1. Hard to keep lines intact with players dropping like flies with injuries. Regardless, this team still hasn't found its offensive flow. We've seen it in bursts, need it to happen for a few games in a row. We'll see if they can do that this season. Jury is still out on that.
  2. @Oxbow6, you'll get a kick out of this...appears that CHN is now showing xG in their box scores. First time I've noticed that. And it's probably broken, because xG barely gave DU the win tonight...3.6 to 3.3. https://www.collegehockeynews.com/box/final/20241115/den/ndk/
  3. This team needs to play some desperate hockey tomorrow. A split would sure be a huge help later on down the road. Tough task for sure with how good DU is and how depleted our lineup looks right now. I'm just assuming that UND got 2-3 more injuries tonight?
  4. Dartmouth at 5-0 and just beat Cornell tonight. They're at #2 in PWR behind DU. UND moves down to #17...one spot ahead of a CC team that is 8-1 on the season.
  5. Yep. He’s one that can’t have 0 goals after over a month of games. If he’s struggling at draws, pair him with someone that can win some draws and then they switch assignments after the faceoff. Easy enough.
  6. I think this team plays first round at home. DU is the class of the league. Miami and UMD are at bottom. We'll see how things stack up when we play SCSU, WMU, and CC...but from what I've watched of those teams, I think we can take points from them.
  7. Still shows us at 15 in PWR, but lots of games still to finish...including ours, of course.
  8. CC's first loss of the season!
  9. Man that breakaway to tie it would have been huge right after Strinden's goal. Instead it comes back the other way for the 2 goal cushion again. I'd agree...hopefully we see Hobie tomorrow but not sure it matters with how DU is playing right now and how short we are with injuries.
  10. Certainly doesn't help that our best scorer and best dman are out longterm. But that would just close the gap slightly to DU at this point in the season.
  11. I'm guessing the Schmaltz line will be paired up against DU's Devine line as much as possible.
  12. TJ with the start. Every available skater is playing with no extra. Same D group as against UMD. Lines all scrambled. I'd bet that they'll be shuffling quite a lot throughout the game.
  13. Have to scan the upper deck seats to see 1/3rd of them.
  14. Berry had the boys attempting to block shots with their faces in practice on Tuesday. Needless to say, it backfired.
  15. Yes, for sure. Just ridiculous the injury issues this team is already facing a month into the season. You hope that they are using up all their injuries now.
  16. Couple Thurs night games tonight... UMN beat BSU 5-3 with an ENG and outshot them 39-25. Hopefully we can dispatch BSU in a couple weeks as well... Providence beat UMass 2-1...UND is still Prov only loss this season. That bumped UND to #15 in the PWR, up one spot. A win over DU would do wonders for UND...
  17. Evidently Berry recruited a bunch of guys similar to Mr. Glass.
  18. If ever there was a team that could really use a bye week, it's this team right now. Unfortunately they won't get one until after the SCSU series in mid-Dec. Berg will miss the crucial stretch of RMU/BSU/Miami where this team really needs to go 6-0...5-1 at absolute worst.

  20. Berg out this weekend again now too. Last time we played a top 10 team without Berg, things didn't go too well. All these injuries are getting really ridiculous to start the season. I think that means that every available skater will be playing again.
  21. Deaner! It's too bad what happened to Sutton...kid could have gone #1.
