It's a good thing our PK has looked better the past couple series, because we still like to take a couple dumb penalties each game. Hopefully the PK can be stronger at WMU next weekend then it was when WMU visited the Ralph. Woof.

Agreed on both points. And also happy to see Pionk torched a couple times this weekend...most notably on OMac's goal tonight and Littler's last night.

I think playing Emery over Komzak is a no-brainer. Komzak certainly didn't play poorly last night, but he only played 5 minutes. Emery will help lessen the load on the top 3. From last night:

Same lines as last night except for SR line moved to 4th line on depth and FR line up to 3rd. TJ in net, Emery in for Komzak.

Up to #18 in PWR. Now only 4 pts behind UNO in the NCHC with one game in hand...a win tomorrow would be huge to close that gap to one point.

UMD has some really talented underclassmen, especially their current FR group. If they can keep that core group together, they'll be improved in the next couple seasons.
