LIU ties it with BU at 1. They're still outshooting BU by a bit. Mich up 2-0 on Mercy and outshooting them 25-2. Geez. Mercy sucks. Perron finally with a point (2nd assist) on Mich's 13th goal of the weekend.
-
Really like that 3rd line with Ollie, Menghini, and Strinden. All hustle, speed, and relentless. They're gonna cause some issues for other teams.
-
Good to see James getting PP time as well. He's gonna be playing a lot with 1st line, PP and PK.
-
Dang he's got the laser shot on tonight.
-
Homer seems calm back in net. And big.
-
You could tell Keaton wanted to unleash that too...just waiting for it to cross over.

After 1: BU 1-0 over LIU (LIU outshooting them 13-6 though) Mich 1-0 over Mercy STU 1-0 over SCSU despite being outshot 12-4 Miami 1-0 over Ferris after 2
-
2-0 after 1 12-7 SOG UND 1min left in PP
-
Rickwood just wins all of his draws, I guess. Ollie has some wheels.
-
2 big saves in a row to keep it a 2 goal game. James had it right there.
-
Strathmann just deked a Bisons right to the ice. Ha. First PP seemed to be Verhoeff, Liv, Zellers, Reschny...and who was the 5th out there?
-
Short lived, 4x4. Lots of penalties to start.
-
Now a PP.
-
2-0 Swanson

Hahaha.
-
PPG 1-0
-
Menghini looks like he'll be a great PKer along with James.
-
Other than jump over their goalie while the Bisons player crashed into his own goalie.
-
BU PPG on their 1st sog against LIU, 1-0. OMac with a 2nd assist. Boisvert centering their 1st line, OMac centering their 3rd line.
-
Nice PK, Bisons didn't get setup.
-
Yep! Fresh start.

Awesome top line for UMD this season. But something tells me that the rest of their lineup will struggle a bit. Bets that UMD's top line scores more points than the rest of their lines combined?

I was just gonna say. For McKenna...I know it's only his first game. But I was expecting more. I was expecting to be "wow'd" a bit more...for a guy labeled as a generational talent. Completely different players and eras, but I was more impressed watching Parise's first UND game than McKenna just now. He doesn't appear to be an overly fast or smooth skater. Has great vision and passing instincts for sure. Doesn't seem to engage defensively or skate back with effort when the puck is going the other way. Will be interesting to watch how his season goes. I'm sure he'll put up points, no doubt.

ASU let that one slip away. Allowing 4 unanswered goals in the 3rd on home ice? Ouch. UMD up 4-0 over Alaska after 2.
