DU Injury Update: http://www.denverpost.com/sports/ci_13803648 They have 3 injured players evidently. Cheverie, Wiercioch, and Donovan. Donovan is expected to play. Cheverie had his first "light" practice with equipment on yesterday. Wiercioch hasn't practiced since the UAA injury.

Cheverie is listed as "doubtful" for the UND/DU series this weekend according to this release: http://www.denverpioneers.com/ViewArticle....TCLID=204834991 No mention of the status of Wiercioch.

After losing last night, UMD is crushing MTU tonight, 8-0.

The whole fight was started by the UW goalie shoving a UAA player right in front. UAA isn't the same team when they are away from their home arena.

The UW student section is now chanting F*** the Seawolves after a fight breaks out in the UAA/UW game. Easily audible from the TV. I thought Alanna Rizzo said that UW fans were fun and happy, and only UND fans were mean?

Merrimack is killing BU, 6-2. UW now leading UAA 4-0 in the 2nd.

Merrimack continues to do well, they are beating BU 4-1 right now...

The announcers in the UAA/UW game have already given the game to the Badgers. They are up 1-0, but if you just listened to them, you would think it was 7-0.

No doubt. I remember the story that Woog has told before about visiting the old Ralph. The Sioux mounted one of their usual 3rd period comebacks against the Gophers, so Wooger called a TO. The building got so loud with the Lets Go Sioux chant that Woog couldn't even hear himself let alone his players. He just stood on the bench...

I could care less if people swear at hockey games...heck, I've done it before...but profanity can't be the only thing that "throws the opponent's game off". And who said you can't sieve the opposing goalie? Sure, it's directed at the other team, but the Sioux scoring is what caused the sieve chant to occur in the first place. I think you're reading too much into this...

I don't think that's what it's saying at all. It's just saying to avoid chants with profanity and instead of saying F THE GOPHERS, say something like GO SIOUX GO or something like that. Not too difficult. Atmosphere retained.
