A defending national champion joke. Not to dismiss PSU at all, but Michigan isn't exactly looking like a powerhouse thus far this season. And before we give the title to the Nittany Lions, we have to remember that they've played 9 of their 14 games against Niagara, Alaska Anchorage, Canisius, Arizona State, and Mercyhurst. That's a brutally easy SOS. It'll be interesting to watch the rest of their season to see how it goes...and to see how far they can make it in the NCAA's.

Nice, excellent weekly reminder. It's too bad for the B10 that the PWR also includes SOS in the calculation, which lowers the rank of the B10 teams due to all the AHA opponents they've played. If the season ended today and the top 16 teams were in the dance, NCHC would have 5 teams, including 3 of the #1 seeds. No biased opinion there either, just fact.

From what my sources say, Berry is cutting 75% of the team at semester break and adding recruits from the UND intramural league. The players that are getting cut are trying to get picked up by DIII colleges, which is more appropriate to their talent level. They seemed to be ok last year. And there's not many teams in college hockey that are dominant from day one and roll through the entire season. UND did last year...UW during their last natty...BU during their last title year, etc...but still not overly commonplace.

Certainly not with a national title.

Doesn't help that the injured sniper was in the stands.

What a letdown weekend after last weekend's great result against SCSU. Disappointing.

Wow is this team going to get lit up by BC next week. This is a pretty bad weekend against a poor MSU team.

How the heck does BSU lose to previously winless Princeton? Ouch. I guess about the same as MSU beating UND. And former UND player Wade Murphy scored his 2nd of the season for ASU against RPI.

The ladies team sure does know how to get up for big games and then just lay horrible eggs against poor teams. Very weird.

Maybe Brad shouldn't have played up the "Cam's never lost to a Michigan team" so much this week. This is brutal. What happened to this team in one week??

Doesn't look like he quite has his dad's skillset. Last year with the Lancers in the USHL he had 6 goals and 14 points in 57 games as a 19 year old.
