  1. UMN counts the games where they played the North Dakota club/intramural team, but UND doesn't.
  2. Yep, me too. It was getting old. I used to be on USCHO for a few hours a day, especially during the season. Now...I can't even remember the last time I was on that site...maybe a year or two ago.
  3. Ben Hanowski was injured for them during our earlier series with SCSU. He is back in the lineup on their top line again now though.
  4. The "stacked one line" strategy has worked well for us in the past, I see no reason not to give it a go again. It still leaves some skill for the lower lines...guys like Parks, EasyMac, Rowney, Rodwell, and some of the frosh like Caggiula and St Clair can and will be expected to contribute. But stacking that top line would sure be fun to watch and they would rack up the goals. I seem to recall the DOT line (Duncan/Oshie/Toews), the Money Line (Bucks/Parise/Murray), and the Line of Fire (Panzer/Bayda/Lundbohm) doing some serious damage for past Sioux teams...
  5. I call shenanigans!!
  6. Good question.
  7. Wasn't it the poster Mariucci that said before the series that Wilcox had the quickest glove hand since Stauber? Didn't take much for Knight and Grimaldi to expose that a bit... I agree that you can't feel good after giving up a late 4-2 lead and settling for the tie. Two posts in OT makes it feel worse. For as much as everyone was complaining about the D and the goalies...UND showed tonight that they can certainly play with UMN. Now they need to start finishing off some of these games.
  8. Hopefully Gleason can excel on the big sheet like he did when we played at CC. That might have been his best series of the year.
  9. Haula with Rau and Bjugstad on the top line for UMN. If we can somehow contain that line...I like our chances this weekend. If not...it could get ugly. I still would like to see Grimaldi paired with some speedy/skilled forwards to see what they could do together.
  10. Whatever happened to Earl and Cepis?

  12. Edited. Probably easiest to just remove the years entirely.
  13. Quite the first post. Please refrain from the personal attacks. Otherwise your time here will be a short one. Thank you.
  14. Similar to when you go over to GPL and all that Gopher fans talk about is what goons UND are, etc. And then someone posts the actual penalty minutes. Just admit that both sides have their "crazies" and accept it.
  15. You just lost whatever argument you were trying to make with these two statements here. Nice work man! Haha.
  16. -DU gets three points against UNO, tying them 3-3 tonight. -John Ramage scores the OT winner for the 2nd straight night to help UW sweep MSUM. Last night with only 30sec left in OT...tonight with only 6sec left. -Duluth sweeps Tech, winning 5-4 tonight. -Gophers stomp UAA 7-1. -The Michigan season is getting fun to watch. They get swept by Alaska. -UNH bounces back against BC to earn the split.
  17. -BC bounces back and beats UNH 5-2. Gaudreau is right back at it, with 3 pts. -Michigan continues downward spiral, losing 5-4 to Alaska. -Duluth beats Tech 1-0. -UW cools off MSUM, beating them 4-3 with 30 sec left in OT. -UMN looks beatable for most of the game against UAA, and then scores 2 goals on a 5min major PP to close out the game with a 4-3 win. -UNO absolutely dominates DU for most of the game, but Faulkner can't stop a beach ball in net and DU wins 7-4.
  18. My thoughts: -Penalties on Kristo and MacWilliam. Both horrible penalties that you never want to see your "leaders" taking. Kristo's cost the team a goal and Mac's cost the team a chance at scoring the equalizer. -MacMillan's goal was a beauty. Just a great individual effort. -CC's first goal was incredibly weak. Saunders needs to make that stop every time. The last two games have shown a pretty lackluster effort from UND. Time to step it up and get the split against CC before making the big trip to Mariucci.
  19. Bowling Green takes down Michigan and UMN handles Notre Dame. Michigan on a downward spiral and UMN looks tough after the BC/ND games. We can hope that UMN is peaking early. The series at Mariucci in a couple weeks should be good.
  20. A nailbiter in Alaska with UW beating UAA 1-0. A combined 34 sog...must have been a fun one to watch. UW gets the sweep.
  21. How huge is it having Parks back in the lineup? So good along the wall and in front of the net. And I'm guessing he's not even "up to speed" quite yet either. Will be interesting to see what they do with the lines with Grimaldi back next week...
  22. BSU ties WMU 2-2. Danny Mattson with 1g/1a for BSU. MSUM sweeps Providence, shutting them out tonight 4-0. Not a good weekend for SCSU. They get swept by NMU, losing tonight 2-1. CC swept by UNO, lost 3-1 tonight. DU sweeps Cornell, winning 2-1 tonight. Leblanc from SCSU and Walters from UNO both register one point tonight, so Knight (and Kristo) both make up one point on them in the scoring race.
  23. Gold. Kick ars. Thanks Rocco!
  24. And BC got outshot 48-22 by Yale. Ouch. Big nights for both Archibald (3g) and Zombo (3a). Would have been nice to see both of them in UND sweaters. Walters had a 4pt night too, so Knight doesn't make up any ground on him in the scoring race. Denver beats Cornell 5-1. SCSU cooling off a bit? They got crushed 6-2 by NMU. MSUM keeps rolling with a 4-3 OT win against Providence. BSU gets beat 6-0 by WMU.
