At this point I'd say that Boeser should come back for another year to work on his defensive game...but I'm guessing he'll be gone. It'd be nice to retain both him and Jost for another year, but could potentially lose both.

Oh well. Well maybe after the Friday night loss to CC they can switch it then?

Now that Cam has the beloved record, maybe Tomek gets a start next week vs CC? Not pinning this all on Cam, but something needs to change. Might as well start there and work your way forward thru the lineup.

I still think this team can make a run in the NCAA's...maybe not win the title but they have potential. Playing UMD right now though...they're a very tough team and UND just isn't there yet. Maybe they won't be all season. Lot of players need to step up.

Hopefully nothing long term on Jost, that's my real concern tonight other than the loss. He's easily been our most consistent forward all year...can't lose him now. And I don't think anyone should be surprised at all of UMD's diving...that's been a regular in their playbook for the last 3-4 seasons now it seems.

So, wait. In one post, we can't look at prior seasons, only the current one. But then a few posts later, we're supposed to include the entire history of programs/conferences when discussing how "great/poor" they are? Spin cycle is in full effect!

In March? UMN might be celebrating another B10 playoff title in March. Meanwhile, a non-B10 team will be celebrating a National Title in April.

Cool to see them snag the #1 spot in the polls, but I don't think it lasts long once the tourney starts. When you spend your non-conf games beating up on Mercyhurst, Canisius (x2), Niagara (x2), Anchorage (x2), and Arizona State (x2)....ouch. That's not really preparing them for success in the tourney. And none of the rest of the B10 teams will do much to help either. I'd be very surprised to see them make it out of their bracket, regardless of who is in their path.

Is there a reason for tossing two fish, or just for your own S&G?

My dad took me to those tourney games at the Old Ralph...I was only four years old. I still have the t-shirt that he got for me, my son wears it now.

Maybe not tears, but certainly hoarse voices after all those goal celebrations.
