I don't think that's too much of a stretch. UMD and Penn are a heck of a lot better than UAA and StL.
-
Yeah, when you went on for priority ticket purchase there was no upper. Just lower and club level available, at least at that time.
-
That's a strange age.

I think this team could be decent as the season goes on, but losing Jost a season too early will hurt. Seeing them struggle to score against UAA and then watching CC destroy UAA this week is rough. I'm hoping that once Pogo and Gersich get rolling that everyone else loosens their grip on their sticks. Kawaguchi Jones and Mismash could all have decent rookie (Jones not really a rookie but ya know) if they get a couple to go.

I predict another low scoring, one-goal game. Unless Gersich and Pogo find their scoring touch.

I'm guessing Hrkac will struggle a bit without Joyce to put away all his passes.

http://undhockey.areavoices.com/?p=107990 Gornall leaves UND in search of more playing time. -
Gornall has left UND so he won't be getting any hatties tonight.
-
I bought earlier today as well. First rows in Club Level...I like to watch the play develop from up top.
-
All three UND goals tonight were first career goals. Pretty cool.

CJ wins it!

2 pts for Gardner tonight makes him our leading scorer. Ogie isn't going to like that.

At least once this season.

From a team that finished 6th in the conference last year in scoring. All those players are now a year older, but I still pick our and DU's depth far above them at forward. How do you really feel about Wolanin and Gardner? -

He has Duluth at third, which I just don't see with all the seniors that they lost. Anything can happen, but I think they struggle for home ice. SCSU at 2nd...I know everyone is talking about how good their d-corps will be, but I'm just not seeing the offensive depth...especially when compared to DU and UND. My thoughts...I think DU wins the league (not a hard conclusion with what they return), but I think UND has the best chance at 2nd and could be mighty dangerous come playoff-time. -
I remember that as well. He really gave us a fun preview of the type of player he would be for his entire career at UND. I swear I found the clip of that play on YouTube at one point in time, but I looked for it a few months ago and couldn't find it any longer.

To be fair, they could have shown 10 clips each of just Osterberg and Toninato from UMD last year, but that would have made the video monotonous. -
Does that look better?

There's not a single player on the team that cares what UND is charging for admission to any of the games. -

From my sources, Frazee was next in line if Hrynkiw didn't accept. -
If these were verbals from WHL drafted kids that come from Nova Scotia, I'd be right there with you. But these are all local-ish kids (the most recent commits). I see all these kids ending up at UND...and some of them being excellent collegiate players.

He hasn't even played HS hockey yet. I think with how he performed at the Select 15's, his stock went way up for both college coaches and scouts. His list of college offers reflect that. But, of course, UMN "didn't want him anyway" and BU "didn't expect him to go in the 1st round, so they recanted their offer"...

Sounds like they want him in their system sooner rather than later.
