SOG in that period were 8-1 at one point in favor of DU and ended 14-12 in favor of UND.
They definitely turned it around a bit in the 2nd half of the 2nd.
It was probably a little late since all that went down after school had already started.
Our remaining current 6 d-men are still a very strong group...but that's assuming no injuries during the pod or first series after the pod.
UND had the better of the chances throughout the game. Outshot them 35-22 for the game.
Couple goals that Scheel would want back, for sure.
And hopefully the top line can carry some of that momentum forward.
Denver should be a good test, for sure.
We'll see how they look tonight against Duluth...that should be a good game between two teams picked to finish in the top half of the league.
