I think you misunderstood. There is no evidence to overturn the original call, not the reviewed call. Either way, on to 2017-18. UND was far and away the better team on Friday, but their inconsistency this year didn't leave me too disappointed in the end. If we had a powerhouse roster like last year with us being one of the favorites to win it all, I'd be more disappointed.

Not that it matters and I'm [mostly] over it...but there is absolutely nothing conclusive about what you see in that one photograph posted. Maybe they had a better angle to view...who knows. I haven't seen any video of it since I was at the game, but nothing I've seen so far shows anything conclusive to overturn it.

Didn't know people used crank telephones in the 90s and 2000s. The streak was from 1991-2012...22 straight seasons.

A couple of years after this thread started I sold something to a complete stranger on these forums. Since we lived in the same town at the time, I met and delivered the item in person. We ended up hanging out over beers that afternoon. Fast forward to 2017 and now I consider that person to be one of my best friends...whether they like it or not. Ironically, since I don't peruse these forums very frequently these days, he was the one that contacted me to let me know that this thread wad bumped. Without him telling me, I may have never seen UND27's post. So it's a feel-good story well beyond what you see on the surface even.

Fortunately I had someone run a script a few years back to auto-download all the photos in corresponding photos to the game they were played. They're around my HDD somewhere...

True, but REA doesn't sew on the letters/numbers, they only heat press them.

REA does a good job. But, Exclusive Pro Sports does a better job and is cheaper. However, turnaround time is a lot slower as they are in Illinois and are constantly doing lettering for the number of pro and collegiate teams they are partnered with.
