As smart as it sounds, I doubt it will happen anytime soon...I'm not trying to knock what you're saying because I agree to a certain extent...I just doubt it will happen. Not until some significnant injury (possibly fatal...like a puck to the face) will they consider it, in my opinion.

Yeah, Zach has really developed well in the NHL. Definitely one of the rising young stars. Hopefully Zajac can learn along side him on that same line and they can really grow together...which I think they will, especially now that Zajac's got a year under his belt. Stafford is hopefully the same way. He had that learning curve at first, but after getting another chance he's really played amazing. Good to see we're doing the right thing here at UND with how we're developing players while striving excellence at the collegiate level as a team at the same time.

Bob Norton is from Massachusetts....you can easily tell fwum is voyce. He used to coach BU I believe. He's got the Eastern Bias if there EVER was such a thing.

Let's play the hypothetical game....In this game, Toews is a Blackhawk and Lee is a Senator for 07-08, not Sioux. Finley is staying. Remember that Porter and Fabian aren't here anymore. Is our 07-08 team better than the 06-07 team (the 2nd half team)? I'm really liking our recruits, so far. The added young talent, plus the experience of the guys staying should overcome the loss of our boys leaving. However, it will be another season where we take the beginning/mid-season to gel before we make another playoff push. My thoughts are that it will be UND and DU playing for the WCHA title. Just my $.02

I really like the way Kozek and Miller play. They both have good shots....and Kozek is a really hard worker on the ice. You can't teach hard work. Let's stay on the positive with these guys, we don't need anymore negativity with some of our current players like another couple I can think of. I think that would be the coolest thing ever to have all football/hockey games in HD. Not sure what the cost of that would be to replace it all, but I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap. I'd pay if they were taking donations!

I saw LaPoint play with Green Bay this past winter, great skater, great passer. Good offensive sense. Not the most physical defensemen, but gets the job done defensively.
