EDIT: I forgot to mention my lucky Nike Sioux Hockey T-Shirt. I've worn a multitude of other things, but none have the same success rate. When we gave up two goals in the final minute to tie earlier this year, I didn't have the t-shirt on...that's one example.

I was just wondering this after looking at my superstitious wallpaper I have. Ever since I put it as my background on my computer, the Sioux went on their streak. It's actually a Wisconsin hockey wallpaper, but I thought it looked cool so I put it up. But, then after the Sioux started winning, I decided to leave it, and it's been there ever since. I know, I know...it's kind of a Badger thing. I just thought it was cool cuz it had all the WCHA teams in a unique picture. Sorry What do you do to help the Sioux out in your own little way?

After re-watching the post-Minnesota game press conference again, I got one more idea for it...hehe.

Since, as far as I know, David Toews isn't even a verbal commitment yet, how sure can we be that he'll want to play for the Sioux? Yeah, Jon does play here. Yeah, it's closer to Winnipeg. Yeah, UND would be an awesome fit. But, that doesn't guarantee he'll come here. Maybe I'm missing something...?

Next year I can see that GAA coming down a lot to hopefully the 2.2 mark or so and then hopefully continuing is development to maybe making the big stage one year.

I agree with you there. Lee has been a little raw and a little duller than some had hoped, but I think the scouts and coaches of not only our team and conference, but the AHL/NHL as well, see Lee as being a great fit with most any team. Decent size, agility, and has an offensive instinct. He will learn from his mistakes, but I will definitely be glad to see him in a Sioux uniform for at least one more year.

This is straight from the Lion's Mouth....take it for what it's worth. I'm not going to say how or where I got this, but as this afternoon this is what Riley Nash said about where he's committing. That was his response after I asked him about him supposedly coming out soon saying he's going to commit to Denver. Like I said, take it for what it's worth...it ain't much...not expecting too much response from it, I just hope it provides a little hope as to us still having an equal chance, which is more than what's been talked about recently. It might be just a cookie cutter answer so he doesn't give up too much info. I just hope he stays out of the WCHA if he doesn't commit to UND.

BC is a speedier team, however they don't play the run and gun style that teams like Michigan play. They'll play a more balanced and thought out offense which, I think, help us. However, if you do play the run and gun, you're more apt for turnovers and penalties which is why the Sioux ended up scoring 8 goals against the Michigan team. I think it's going to be any combination of the teams scoring between 3-4 goals a piece. I won't be surprised if it's an OT game, which wouldn't bother me at all!

Just got back from Pinehurst golfing, clubs would definitely have to come with to St. Louis! Temps are nice in St. Louis right now.

Just something I read about Riley Nash...appears he's down to just Denver and North Dakota, and Cornell is a distant third option. The article is a little old, but hadn't seen it yet. That Mike Connolly is a Duluth, which appears to be a good recruit for them. Hopefully Nash will make the better decision. I think I was more scared of him going to Cornell than Denver, so now that it's down to us and Denver, I'm not as scared. Either way, we'll be seeing him in the WCHA.
