Another game Stafford isn't playing in tonight...I don't see how they don't think he can help them.

Think of it this way...every year we DON'T get number eight, it means we're one year closer to having it happen, whenever it may be. And don't worry, I heard from a reliable source (my friend's, uncle's, cousin's, great-grandma...who went to a Sioux game once) that JT is coming back. So don't worry.

What's with Buffalo continuing to scratch Stafford through the playoffs? You'd think with the way he finished the season he'd have a spot for sure, even with a lot of Buffalo's formerly injured players back. Disappointing...

How about taking the helmets, getting rid of the ND, and using just the feathers from the current Sioux head logo. That's what I did for my avatar...I think it would be unique, simple, and different.

If someone wanted to attempt doing a remake with different highlights...the intro is Wasted Years by Iron Maiden followed by The Slam by Toby Mac.

I guess I wasn't trying to say that Grieco is equal to, or better than, Lammy. I was just saying that someone will need to replace Phil one day, so we should try to get Anthony a few more reps at the starting goalie spot this year. It will only help is in the long run...

I was just wondering how much Grieco will get an oppurtunity to play this year.... My thought is that he is going to play substantially more, which will: a) rest Lammy more than this past year b) get him more acustomed to WCHA play, more than what he gets in practice c) allows him to play in more of 'pressure' situation by playing him in-game I think you may see Grieco play 1 out of every 4 regular season games, mainly against the less competitive teams of 07-08, that way if he has an off game we will be more apt to still win. Grieco started 6 games and had a Save percentage of .884, but with some more oppurtunity, and another year under his belt, I think he can (and will be) more prepared for 08-09. I think if we can get Grieco to start maybe 10 games or so, that will put us in a good situation, because we will still have a winning record under Grieco anyways, so we won't lose much by playing him more...we'll only gain some for the following season. What do you think?

I've been trying to see some of the older Sioux photos that were before my time. I know some are out there, I'm just not finding a lot. I have the 75 years of Sioux Hockey book, and I've gone through the pictures posted on this site (thanks to all who contribute to it!), but I'd like to get more pre-current logo photos. I think his teammates at Canada may have a significant influence. He may ask them what their opinions are and they actually may tell them how much of a "job" it is to play in the NHL and convince him to come back. Who am I kidding tho....

On a serious note based on the question raised in your topic....baseball is as fun to watch as any sport, as long as you know what the hell is going on. The people that don't like it don't understand the strategies of baseball. For someone that knows nothing about sports, hockey is probably a little easier to watch.
