I was just wondering how much Grieco will get an oppurtunity to play this year.... My thought is that he is going to play substantially more, which will: a) rest Lammy more than this past year b) get him more acustomed to WCHA play, more than what he gets in practice c) allows him to play in more of 'pressure' situation by playing him in-game I think you may see Grieco play 1 out of every 4 regular season games, mainly against the less competitive teams of 07-08, that way if he has an off game we will be more apt to still win. Grieco started 6 games and had a Save percentage of .884, but with some more oppurtunity, and another year under his belt, I think he can (and will be) more prepared for 08-09. I think if we can get Grieco to start maybe 10 games or so, that will put us in a good situation, because we will still have a winning record under Grieco anyways, so we won't lose much by playing him more...we'll only gain some for the following season. What do you think?

I think his teammates at Canada may have a significant influence. He may ask them what their opinions are and they actually may tell them how much of a "job" it is to play in the NHL and convince him to come back. Who am I kidding tho....

On a serious note based on the question raised in your topic....baseball is as fun to watch as any sport, as long as you know what the hell is going on. The people that don't like it don't understand the strategies of baseball. For someone that knows nothing about sports, hockey is probably a little easier to watch.

I hope he stinks it up if he goes. All kidding aside, I hope he shows them how UND plays hockey and makes the best decision based on how he performs.

I'm kind of on the fence about the whole thing. They don't add a whole lot to the games, but I think it's a nice oppurtunity for the girls to do something outside of school as well. They're not really annoying, b/c you can hardly tell when they're there. I think if we should get rid of everything that sucks at the Ralph, the fans would be the first to go. I could study during most games there.

At least Crawford is out for the year now. Doesn't sound like he'll be back, ever.

That's at SCSU during the regular season. We wore black vs. SCSU during the Final Five. Kermit is retired for a little while...he didn't get the job done that one Thursday night almost 2 weeks ago.

Dammit...I thought that was going to be an easy excuse to go drink on a week night...oh well.
