I don't see how this is a big deal. Look at who won 5 out of the past 6 National Championships...the WCHA. I think it's more of North Dakota's inability to adjust to it. Often times we get caught not moving our feet and we rely on this too much, often times more than other WCHA teams. We take too many stupid penalties (especially Lee). It's ok, I still think this year we get one closer to Michigan for most Nat'l Champs...

The song that follows the Iron Maiden - Wasted Years intro is "The Slam" by Toby Mac (found by a non-posting Sioux fan). I will post a new thread with the official playlist that i use...it's pretty good, I listen to it everyday and it never gets old. I can't find/think of any more songs to use.

Anyone know what next years schedule is yet? If not, when do they put it out?

As painful as it is to say it, it wasn't that boring watching them come back on us during the Saturday night home game in December...which will forever go down as "Glow stick night" haha.

Ok, cool...I'm a student so I got the discount prices which is cool, it just sucks that all my friends will be home for spring break while I'm here.

You can argue for either team, Wisconsin has 6 Nat'l Champs, UND has 7... One difference, ok, big deal. UND is known as a young talented team every year, where many players are 1 or 2 year players. Hence the reason it always takes half a year to reload (see last year also). However, when the team gels midseason, watch out. That young talent gets cohesive and they start playing to their strongsuits. Wisconsin is more of a four year school it seems, where players come to play 3-4 years. (I think this is partly b/c no one is able to show off their offensive skills as frequently, making it seem smarter to stay an extra year or two sometimes). This gives you a great team every 3-4 years after those players have been playing together for a few years. You may not have great years inbetween, but when you do play well, things like Nat'l Championships happen (see last year). However, UND will always be strong and will see more Frozen Fours, but not necessarily have the experince to put them over the top. No matter how you look at it, I'm sure this is how it will turn out again. We'll stay strong, but look out for Wisconsin in a couple years again when their talented recruits are a cohesive team that knows each other inside and out. Kent, I respect your loyalty for Wisconsin hockey, but keep in mind where you are posting your comments and keep in mind that UND isn't exactly a slouch team...neither is Wisconsin, even on off years. Rivalries make the game great, but let's keep respect in the back of our minds as we have fun debating about each others teams.

Is it reserved seating (assigned seating), or is it a General Admission section for normal student sections. I ask because I have Section 108, Row A, sets 3, 4, and 11....I'll probably keep the one seat, but would like to sell seats 3 and 4, but would want to know if it's guaranteed front row seating before I tell people that it is. So...if anyone is interested, let me know!

Been working, just turned on the game on the radio during the 1st intermission, heard it was 3-1 after one! Then they started well in the 2nd but gave one up...oh well. But, I figured I could come on here and see who scored, but no one has said anything! So...who scored those 3??

How hard is it to make up your own "W" logo without having to copy someone elses. Whether it's OK or not, I hate it when logos are copied. It's not THAT hard to be original. Either way, I think it's ok that Wisconsin is doing what they are doing...if they created the logo, they can do what they want.

Is it just be or does that Title IX BS need some revamping. I know of more than one schools with multiple sports capable of playing decent within a conference, but are stuck at the "club" level because of Title IX. They should allow more teams to play, and then when the women put together a sport that they want to compete, they can automatically create a team. I dunno, that doesn't make a ton of sense either, but I hate how a stupid rule like that can prevent so much.
