In my opinion, there are A LOT of empty seats...maybe it's still filling in, and it will prolly be a lot more full for UND/BC, but still...

Not HD...

People that don't have HD in their homes assume that if something is shown on an HD channel means it's in HD. Well, it's not the case. I don't know for sure if it will be in HD. I heard last year it was, so that's some hope. But I got my HDTV in September, missing last years. However, some channels, ESPN especially, show non-HD programs on their HD channels.

If BC and UND each play their BEST games, it will be Sioux 3-1. The best way to stop the DOT line is by outmuscling them along the boards, big defensemen have a hard time doing this, and because of BC's smaller defensemen (in general), I see that causing a lot of problems when the DOT is on the ice, especially during powerplays.

BC was so scared of playing UND that they managed to slow time down so much that it still feels like Wednesday today.

I know he's gone, but for those that are interested just from an overall hockey standpoint... I sent a quick message today to Riley wishing him well in Cornell, and told him I wished we coulda saw him in kelly green going for #8 or #9... He's a very nice kid and would have been a perfect fit in the Sioux system. LaPoint is another great kid with a good head on his shoulders. It looks like we're going after the right boys, that's for sure.

That game at Ford Field will be absolutely nuts I have a feeling. For the basketball national championship they had over 51,000 in attendance in what would be a similar setup in terms of seating in an NFL stadium. If the Frozen Four can get half of that in attendance, that would just be electric! Look at the past couple special games in unique setups like the game last year between Ohio State and Wisconsin at Lambeau Field. They had like 40,000 or something if I remember right as well.
