Nice little one timer in front of the net five-hole from a pass behind the net.

Umm, no you won't. They only wear Home Whites.

KOZEK FOR HOBEY
-
Ooooh, now you make sense...

Nice joke Diggler...everyone knows Brett Favre isn't human! GO PACK GO!
-
His legs looked tired early and often, but you could tell the kid had skill. It will be nice to see him in action when he gets his legs under him a bit more and he can get some cohesion with a line. Things are looking nice for him.

I hate to play devil's advocate here, but...if the Radke story is true, imagine the rage around here if a Gopher player did it to a Sioux fan. There'd be HELL to pay around here if you're a Gophers fan. And anyone that disagrees with that statement is so biased and unjournalistic that posting on these boards is irrelevent. -
Finally a weekend where hundreds of my hard-earned dollars aren't being spent!

Some of the responses like the one above mine are all very true and show that UND Hockey is a better level and more successful team than NDSU Football. However, it doesn't prove that UND Hockey is more popular than NDSU Football in the state of North Dakota. Hell, if people LOOOOOOVED volleyball, Mayville State volleyball could be the most popular team in North Dakota if that's what people thought.

If Kozek can grind, and is mainly used as a grinder on this level, then to me he's a grinder. We all know he has the ability to be put on a top two line because of his intensity and scoring ability, but he's good at hitting people and making people work. So, if he's used as a grinder, I dont' think it's wrong to label him a grinder. Also, I'm just that good to notice it after game 1.

In Fargo NDSU Fooseball is bigger In GF UND Hockey is bigger In North Dakota as a whole NDSU Football is bigger On a national level, by far, UND hockey is bigger. It makes sense yet it doesn't make sense.

Hmmmm.....when I say that Frattin didn't click with Osh and Duncs I get ripped a new a-hole...but now that Hak sees the same thing no one mentions anything. Anyways...I hope it's Kozek, but I think it will be Trupp on that first line. The reason I say Trupp is because he isn't the same grinder that Kozek is (although he has potential...his size limits him tho), so I'd say put the scorer with the other scorers and their speed. I'd like to see a line of Vande centering Kozek and Frattin. That'd be the Special Ops line because they'd be some nasty snipers.

Correct...after seeing him there I was more excited to see him play than see Stafford...although Stafford was a real treat.

I just got word that Michigan Tech will be ready...they already have a secret weapon on the way: Secret Weapon

Everyone calls people names they don't want to be called. He's Lammy to me.
-
If the Sioux play like they did against Michigan State, they will get one for sure, but will struggle for the other game. If they played like they did this weekend, they will be lucky to split. Lammy gives up his first goals this weekend.

Not sure if this was posted anywhere...but... At the Northeastern game, there were a number of Junior Bruins players and one of the US NDTP teams. The US team was together in the upper level and didn't get to talk to any of them. I saw about 5 Jr. Bruins players throughout. Hopefully they got the right impressions.

He's currently taking private lessons from lammy.... ....KIDDING of course. I love Karl, met him a few times, one of the nicest people I've met. I can't wish him anything but the best.

Just got back to lovely tropical GFK after a fun (and sometimes not so fun) weekend in Boston. Here are some thougts after seeing things first hand. -Good Sioux turnout...great at the NU game. Didn't go anywhere in the city without running into one or more Sioux fans. If you take away the students at the NU game, I bet 1 out of 4 was a Sioux fan. Way to go everyone! -The BC game was insanely hot inside. I would not doubt it was 80 degrees. I had to take off my jersey leaving just a t-shirt and jeans and I was sweating profusely, and I don't sweat easy. -At the NU game...Brad Malone and Derrick Lapoint were wandering a bit. I ran into Derrick and talked to him for a minute about the BC game and he said Thursday's practice was even worse. The ice was puddling in many places and they weren't sure if the game would even be played. He said it was horrible and he couldn't even see the puck when it was in the corners. -Brad looked like he was in good spirits when in the stands at the NU game. I didn't know about his injury until after the game, but he didn't look like he was in much pain and was mostly smiling...no arm slings or anything like that. We can only hope it wasn't as bad as it sounds. -I thought that UND could have played a lot harder than they did against NU. Lammy won that one hands down for our guys. -DOF line needs to pick it up a bit. Good movement at times but aren't getting many good looks. -Too many stupid penalties. -MTU will not be a gimmie at all. In fact, we will be VERY lucky to split if we played like we did this past weekend. That's all for now. Nice meeting some of you fans in Beantown! (I had a green Watkins jersey on Friday, black Smaby on Saturday for those that were there)
