Well if that is the case good riddance Danny...it was a great run *sarcasm*. From all the articles I have read it was "always" his dream to play for the Sioux and to bail out after this year would be pretty weak in my opinion.
You can hear the whole interview on KFAN.com...They were talking about a potential Sioux Dogs matchup and Drunk Hockey Guy said the advantage between the two teams power plays goes to the Dogs cause they have 5 guys with 2 hands and 10 toes in obvious reference to Kristo. That is where PA cut him off. Props to PA
Thanks to Senser's for all you do for Sioux hockey! I have watched many games there (Bloomington location) throughout the year! All of Sioux nation appreciates it!! Go Sioux! I will be in Green Bay this weekend otherwise I would be at Senser's!!
Perfectly said in the article...I think this letter sums up the thoughts of all or most of UND alum. I spend thousands of dollars each year following the UND hockey team. In fact am headed to Green Bay this weekend and went to the final five last weekend. Oh and if the Sioux are fortunate enough to make it back to St Paul I will be there as well. Bottom line I do not think this administration understands the passion Sioux fans have.
Chay is a great player but the D corps is better defensively without him. I hope Hak does not split up Blood and Forbort. Put Chay with Mac and LaPoint with Marto,,,,Chay is best utilized on the power play
We will have a good d corps next year with or witout Genoway. At forward however there are no real dynamic players other than Kristo and Gregoire assuming he doesn't play like he did yesterday. Eidsness is a good goalie but he never seems to be able to steal a game. He was OK yesterday, nothing great.
None of the freshman forwards other than Kristo really did much of anything this year. Cichy was the biggest disappointment. After how well he did in the USHL last year I expected a much better showing from him. Bruno well he is a grinder and plays hard. Rowney not much skill shown either, pretty much a grinder as well. David Toews well he has to be bummed to not even make the line up for most of the second half of the year. He has digressed big time this year.
