Why do you say that? I see Porter and VV as similar players. Obviously if Edmonton was head over heels for VV they would have signed him. Porter was a good college player and so is VV but i do not see either of them making the NHL on a regular basis.

Sioux will be great next year!! Bring Forney, Cichy, and Kristo in the mix and they will more than replace the scoring output of Kozek Watty and Martens.

So other than Duncan...who have we really lost? Finley is easily replaceable by a faster skater. Get Pointer back and the d will be better than last year. I realize Kozek, Watkins etc but there is plenty of talent to replace those guys.

Gophers can have all the higher rated players...but man if Pointer is healthy next year and VV comes back I really like our chances!! Plus we got a Dell!!

I am talking about making a splash...I don't see anywhere that Leafs fans are chanting Blake's name like Oshie in St Louis. In fact most of them probably hate him.

If not Blais...I would like to see Ramsey get a shot...I think they will promote Constantine though. Just keep Danny "jersey popper" Irmen from ever making his NHL debut and I will be happy. Time is a ticking Danny! Can't stand that guy.

I don't see Flynn signing...he sucks at the college level. Schroeder will be back but so what...they lose Stoa who was far and away their best player. Leddy will be another Ness and will have a rude welcome to college hockey. Gophs D might be better next year but I don't see them as a contender....

Agreed about Vandy...I think he had 18 goals this year and hopefully could push that to 25 or more next year if he stays. Regarding BU well they won the title so early departures are expected. They will be nowhere near the team they were this year.

Well Brad May is a dirty player and has done more than his share of "turtling". He will not fight a heavyweight.
