  1. I find TV funny... couple of years ago all he could talk about was how nasty USD and UND were and that NDSU was a much more civil partner. Faster forward a couple of years: - SDSU fans are hanging dogs on billboards by the interstate - NDSU has the police by the visitors bench and opposing coaches raising concerns about language and safety. - SDSU has student athlete in the stands causing visiting team members to cry - NOTE: SDSU won the Summit League sportsmanship award - must be a low bar. - Summit League has player brawls in the general public bathrooms during conference tournaments. They wonder why ORU left. Now TV is self proclaimed expert on conference realignment and football polls. In a couple years he will be wrong again and he will be pimp'n the next SDSU SID topic.. the guy is a empty mouth piece.
  2. Good to see you over here.. I can not wait for the game ... it should be a great game. I am worried about M. Rodgers getting to the corner against the Sioux defense. Do you know if Asa is going to play and if not how is the depth at that corner. Good Luck and my best team win tomorrow.
  3. "Listening to PA on KFan today he had Gorg" - that is your first mistake - and not understanding that Gorg is a homer is your second...
  4. I really don't understand the equal funding stuff.. isn't NDSU the land grant school for the State of North Dakots. So NDSU already has advantages over every schools in the system plus a land endowment that is not shared with others schools. If NDSU wants to keep pushing equality for all - I have noticed that land grant prelivalage has been given to a state's department and then the benifits are shared with other schools within the state. Maybe the state should start with that..
  5. I agree the biggest impact will be what Belmore did against the run and short yardard situations. How many times have we seen Belmore on the bottom of the pile on a big third/four down and short play or the goalline stand. The guy was a beast and a leader in those situations. You could see the team rally around the fact that the middle of the line was going to hold its ground. In fact, USD tried to go wide after getting nothing on three or four straight plays a couple of years ago - that did not work either. Plus his special teams - I still remember the road game at UCA. Last game of the year, he blocked back to back 4th Q FG attempts as the Sioux held on for the win. After the game he said that he wanted to send the Seniors out on a winning note. I anyways enjoyed watching him play.
  6. I have 11 tickets available for UND vs MSU - Sat. Mar 3rd - Section 311 - H1 to H11. - asking face + ticketmaster charges. I am willing to split tickets into groups send PM if interested.
  7. Please post your concerns about Bison recruiting on Bisonville. They might care more than I do.
  8. Thank you for your concern about UND sports, please write or call your ND rep.
  9. Just reposting this nugget... wow - you need to talk to your coach because he was recruiting him at QB.

    2012 Recruiting

    Great pick-up for the Sioux
  11. I know the schedule will get better but not many home games on Saturday for out of town fans..
  12. I would guess that BHS is going to blitz all day. Things that Bradley needs to improve: 1) Taking a snap under center and pulling away from the center without falling down or tripping (In three games he has done this twice and he does not take many snaps under center) this lead to the 4 and 15 sequence in the 4th Q against Fresno St. 2) Sensing pressure in the pocket - he really has no feel for this yet and opponents are going to see it on film and they are going to put as much pressure on him as possible. 3) Throw the ball away - he has taken two or three sacks so far this year that could have been avoided. 4) He does not look comfortable running or throwing on the run. Again, teams are going to try and force him to run. FYI, I have been impressed with him so far and I do think that Bradley does do a good job of throwing to a spot, he has a very catchable ball and reading defenses out of the pistol and making the quick 2 or 3 count throw. I don't want to sound too critical.
  13. Couple of notes with the data that I collected. - The NCAA had full data for the following sports: football, basketball-m, and hockey-m - The NCAA had full data minus transitional schools for basketball-w. So, UND and USD data is not included. - The NCAA only had top 50 for baseball - total values ranged from 394,900 (LSU) to 23,459 (Ohio St.) - The NCAA only had top 50 for softball - total values ranged from 63,271 (Alabama) to 3,058 (Portland St.) - The NCAA only had top 50 for Soccer - m - total values ranged from 70,471 (UC Santa Barbara) to 4,562 (Radford) - The NCAA only had top 50 for Soccer - w - total values ranged from 45,132 (Portland) to 4,601 (UCF) - The NCAA only had top 50 for Volley Ball - w - total values ranged from 123,382 (Hawaii) to 7,672 (Md. East Shore) NOTE: NDSU was 44th (12,826) - No data for Hockey - w Actually, I needed some data because I am reviewing data analysis software for my company and saw this thread and thought that I would use it as my core subject. Based on the chatter yesterday - I should have gathered the coaches poll data..
