  1. For starters an accurate crest level forecast would be nice....
  2. https://fbschedules.com/iowa-state-adds-south-dakota-to-2025-football-schedule/ Aug 30, 2019 — Iowa State will host South Dakota at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa, on August 30, 2025. The Cyclones will pay the Coyotes a $575,000 https://fearthefcs.com/2020/06/19/south-dakota-state-and-iowa-state-to-play-in-2027/ June 19, 2020 by Fear The FCS - The two schools will meet on Saturday, September 4, 2027 in Ames, Iowa with the Jackrabbits will receive a guarantee of $550,000 I don't have a real problem with the payout if the game was played in 2020. But, the game was pushed and UND signed the new contract in 2021 when they knew the going rate was $550 to $575. They left money on the table, why?
  3. Well, they were getting a couple of k more also. "Oregon will pay NDSU $675,000". All that I am emphasizing is that UND needs to be maximizing all aspects of the program in the new world of NIL. IMO, they have not done a very good job to this point. This is just one example.
  4. When I saw the payouts it was a little shocking to see the differences. UND could have said NO and looked for other options. They had a 4 year window to look for other FBS games. Simply stated this is a failure. NOTE: There were a couple of other FCS/FBS games this year over 800K and a couple pushing a $1 M. I am kind of scared to see what the other UND FBS game payouts are?
  5. I thought that a new contract was signed in 2021 that rescheduled the game. https://fbschedules.com/2020-north-dakota-kansas-state-football-game-rescheduled-for-2025/ Kansas State will now host North Dakota at Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium in Manhattan, Kan., on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, according to the copy of the contract amendment. The Wildcats will pay the Fighting Hawks a $475,000 guarantee for playing the game. The 2025 Kansas State-North Dakota matchup will mark the first-ever meeting between the two schools on the gridiron.
  6. Similiar to Omaha and Denver the new St. Thomas facility will host both Basketball and Hockey.
  7. For me: Denver St. Thomas (I live in the cities - looking forward to this series) Western ASU UMD CC Omaha Miami Clowns - Who?? - Give me Augie or Mankato over the clowns.
  8. It looks like UND left some money on the table with the FBS/A4 Games this year: Other Dakota FCS/FBS A4 Games North Dakota at Kansas State $475,000 South Dakota at Iowa State $575,000 Other Peer Schools: Youngstown State at Michigan State $725,000 Montana State at Oregon $680,000 Idaho at Washington State $625,000 Weber State at Arizona $625,000
  9. The entire athletic department has been playing catch up since the decision in 2003. This fall when everything is complete with the Hyslop at Memorial Village, Nodak Insurance Company Sports Performance Center and Field House Memorial Village. UND will be on even ground with the peer Dakota schools.
  10. Meeting the new goal would be an accomplishment. The one thing I didn't see mentioned was the update to Aviation Operations at the airport. Is that still something the school is looking to achieve? New Goal: The campaign goal has been raised to $625 million.
  11. Noted this in the GFH article: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/schlossman-whats-happening-at-college-hockeys-annual-meetings Each team's revenue share is different depending on how many subscribers the school pulls in. UND makes more than a half million dollars annually on it. The NCHC wants both its TV rights and streaming rights to open at the same time in 2027, so it can package them together.

    2026 Recruiting

I am excited about this get. Welcome aboard!!
  13. Yes all Notre Dame home games are on Peacock. It would still potentially give the conference Irish road games. Trust me, I understand that working with the Irish could be working with the devil. Let's face it: NCHC has UND, DU, StT and ASU Big Ten: UW, OSU, UM, UM, MSU, PSU and Irish. If they start adding USC or UCLA or UW or UO. Those are 4 more big pieces. Hockey East: BC, BU, Prov, UConn The NCHC is going to need to start developing pieces to complete: Like I said, UNLV, Ariz, USAF, UMKC, Simon Frazier (BC). Do you start talking to SEC schools Texas and Georgia. Notre Dame's home hockey games are broadcast exclusively on Peacock, according to NBC Sports.
  14. I wonder if NCHC is simply regrouping with StT joining in 2026. In 2027, you could go to market with: StT, ASU, UND, and Denver. Plus, do they start to work with UNLV or UMKC to see what could be done. Have they checked in on Notre Dame to see if they are happy with the Big 10. NCHC needs to be proactive in managing it's schools. How is Miamii doing? What is the status of SCSU and UMD. I went to a UMD series this year and it was maybe 1/2 full both nights. Do, both of them have the resources to compete in the new NIL world. Are we preparing for another major shift in college hockey?
  15. Not sure were to put this but: https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/akron-handed-2025-bowl-ban-zips-flunk-out-of-postseason-after-failing-to-meet-ncaa-academic-standards/amp/ Missouri St (ex MVFC ), Murray State (new member) and Utah Tech (potential member) all hit with reduced practice time. Akron was one of only three football programs to hit a multi-year APR rate low enough to miss the postseaso across all of Division I. Mississippi Valley State and UAPB in the FCS ranks will also be ineligible for postseason play. Florida A&M, Missouri State, Murray State and Utah Tech all received practice time reductions for low APR rates.
  16. My info is old: The PL made a change in 2023. https://pioneer-football.org/news/2023/8/1/IMPORTED_STORY_1823.aspx The Pioneer Football League’s Presidents Council named Greg Walter the league’s second commissioner, effective August 1. Walter, who has served as the PFL’s associate commissioner since 2013, brings two decades of collegiate athletics experience, including an extensive background in leadership roles within the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS), into his new role with the league. In addition, Patty Viverito will remain an advisor to the Pioneer Football League after serving as commissioner since the league’s founding in 1993.
  17. Patty V was the comish for both the PL and MVFC.
  18. The reality is that they didn't replace Patty V. They just split her role between two existing conference commisioners (cost savings move?). Plus, any word on what is going on with the Pioneer League?
  19. That advantage could last about a month.. If Texas schools or Utah schools are added to tSL you are looking at a 5(MVC)-6(tSL)-1(HL)
  20. Are you talking about the soccer coach or the DEI program?
  21. This report isn't what SUU and the WAC need right now. This is not good news: To be fair, SUU has denied these allegations. https://www.fox13now.com/news/local-news/southern-utah/southern-utah-ad-denies-report-that-school-is-under-title-ix-investigation

He was dishing out some hurt. It looks like a couple of guys got hurt in his video clips.
  23. Simon had surgery at the end of the season. It sounded like the RB Sawyer also had surgery.
