Hopefully we are ready for them by 2019. It would be embarrassing to get blown out again like last time. Things need to change

I don't think it's ever been officially announced that NDSU is playing in GF in 2020. It's going to come down to who is dropped from NDSU's conference schedule and where that game was to be played. For example if we are replacing say Youngstown State and they would have played at Fargo in 2020, they will plug us in instead. The fact that we play in Fargo in 2019 isn't going to have any bearing on where the MFVC starts the series. We can only hope we get them in GF first. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get them at GF until 2021

No, that's the GOBC. Fandom can find it's own first rule

Worked for me too. Thanks for doing this Jim

It's rather sad that apparently we can only do this when the Hawks are in the tournament. I'd sure like to see it again this year.

Sadly I said the same thing about hockey last November when the football team !@#$ the bed.

When I first clicked on this thread it brought up last years bracket, and saw North Dakota showing. For an instant I was thinking we were in until I realized it was last years bracket. Good vibes for about a half second though and then the fall to earth.

But that was Muss's problem. He got top quality recruits and basically did nothing with them on the field. Case in point, look at his last year here and who he had playing.
-
Hopefully with better results on the field.
-
Well at least they didn't blow a 3 goal lead. LOL

You beat me to it.

4-2 St. Cloud. Just hard to be optimistic after the last couple weeks.
-
I'm positive we're screwed. How's that?

Win one for the Gipper. Oops, wrong sport.

Boy, did you just step in it. No "W" is ever going to admit to being "O".

Check the link below. It's Hero Sports subjective call on the top 50 FCS schools ranked according to this years recruiting class. Please tell me where SDSU is on that list. PLEASE! I see South Dakota at 25 and all they have is the Dakota Dump. I see a lot Sky teams on there, heck even NDSU made the list. So where's SDSU with those great facilities? SDSU actually did better recruiting back when they still had the old CAS stadium and portapotties https://herosports.com/fcs/recruiting-national-top-50-fcs-teams-2018-ajaj#1

The Jackrabbits made it to the playoffs almost every year since they moved up, and they even won a playoff game a lot of years until they ran into NDSU. From what I've heard about the old stadium it was less than great. I'd say the Jacks got further this year because they were opposite NDSU in the bracket rather than having a shiny new outdoor stadium.

No one is against better facilities, but who is going to pay for it? We just cut numerous sports and had to switch conferences because of a lack of money. Additionally, coaches salaries are far below other successful D1 schools. Again, we are short of cash. I don't understand why that's so hard to comprehend.
-
That's certainly a plus.
-
I agree, it doesn't matter how good your facilities are if you don't have the top caliber players to utilize them. Any who thinks they will come if you build it is mistaken. Bubba needs to sell the package, not the buildings.

I know, it's not the end of the world, but I always liked the spring game to build excitement for the upcoming season, but I know what you are saying about playing second fiddle. We can't even get the spring game televised and NDSU does. A lot of it comes down to marketing

Look at the wiki on the home page. Correct dates too as far as I can tell https://wiki.siouxsports.com/doku.php/football/2018_schedule
