  1. I am not a Wentz hater and he got a big payday so good for him. This was a fivethirtyeight article from a few years ago when he was still in Philly. Lots of statistical analysis referenced (Elo rating, etc.). I couldn't find the Elo rating from last year. What I took out of it was that some of the blame went to the poor cast around him but he wasn't very good either. Example - He was throwing into more tight coverages (maybe people not getting open) but he was below average vs other QBs when comparing to their throws into tight coverages also. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/carson-wentz-is-in-freefall-and-the-eagles-are-going-down-with-him/
  2. I know it's a long shot but I'm looking for tickets for the DU game on Saturday Nov 12. Big group coming so need 13 total. Any combination of seats appreciated.
  3. I'm not much of an edge rusher but will bring the Sack City sign to all home games.
  4. That would be great. It would also be the first good news regarding Comcast that I have ever gotten.
  5. Thanks for letting us know. Vern was truly one of the good guys.
  6. Not arguing that it should have been posted. Just saying they were in the know.
  7. Mssmith had it right all along.
  8. I'm sure many do ask. Nobody ever asked me but that was a long time ago. The coaches made a similar decision based on what they had witnessed in practices and games.
  9. In general there is a higher expectation for length, accuracy, ect. at FBS vs. Moorhead St or even UND. FBS kickers not always better but I assume those teams get first pick of the talent. Stage was 8/10 in FG at UND which is pretty good. My opinion from just watching games was that he was accurate but not necessarily long. He didn't attempt any FGs over 50 yards so maybe just never got the chance to show his leg. He was 4/19 on touchbacks his first year and didn't kick off last season. Good luck to him, I hope it works out.
  10. Adam Stage to Northwestern. Didn't see that coming. He was kind of off my radar as hadn't heard anything.
  11. Any info yet on who this is?
  12. My often flawed memory is that the the scoreboard money was $2 mil from REA Foundation and $4 mil from Engelstad Foundation.
  13. There wasn't any technology beyond chicken wire at that time. The NHL had the same.
  14. REA investment since 2019 will $11 million. I say good for them. If being honest - both programs have the same number of playoff wins in their last 5 seasons where playoffs were held, one.
  15. Not sure if it was a one-off or not but the only time we went to Sickies in EGF we waited over an hour after ordering to get our food. They seemed to be staffed OK and it wasn't very busy. It was enough for us to avoid going there again.
  16. Round 5 Pick 155 overall to Cowboys
  17. Thanks for sharing this. Matt is a really good guy and I hadn't heard he was having these issues.
  18. All I'm really saying is that there's no way to know on Montgomery. He barely saw the ice last year.
  19. Spicer last season - 26 games, 16 points Montgomery USHL final season - 28 games, 23 points Can we at least give Montgomery more than 16 games with very limited shifts at UND before people make a decision on him?
  20. Les Jepsen. Looks like he stuck around in the NBA for a couple of years.
  21. Brad Elliott Schlossman @SchlossmanGF 15m Ashton Calder has entered the transfer portal as a grad transfer. He graduated at UND and can be eligible immediately. Also could sign a pro deal.
  22. I know I shouldn't be like that but I am and don't plan to change.
  23. I believe the baseball decision was also monetary. I think they baseball budget for their last year was over $600k - going off distant memory. That seems really high based on what they had available to them so it must have been a lot of travel costs.
  24. Good news but I hadn't heard . When did that happen.
  25. Fanti is gone. Signed with Edmonton
