New D-Core already moves north/south quicker than last year’s squad. Not as much as regrouping too. I realize they’re playing the Manitoba team but it’s noticeable.

Didn't James play with Owen McLaughlin and same line in the USHL? They both have great speed. I'd like to see those two paired together. The top 9 this year for the first half of the season will be very interesting and I'd imagine lines will change a bit. Hunter Johaness adds size and scoring and then Cameron Berg adds scoring and faceoffs. I think the top 3 lines need a sprinkle of Johaness, Striden, and Kunz to add some size and grit for RG, JB, JP, OM and DJ. Have to protect the skilled guys, but then I look at your height & size on the D-core and almost every D-man is 6 feet which is nice! So there's your protection there too in scrums/battles.

So Dylan James wasn’t in the top 6 or on PP unit #2? They gotta give this kid more skilled linemates this year.

I haven’t been to a home game yet (I will). Why don’t a few of you email the marketing team at UND Athletics and see what they come up with or for suggestions? Let the marketing interns get creative, use their minds, then escalate it to their subordinates. Rather see/try something new than nothing or what they’re currently doing.

Has this program made any incremental progress in the last 5 years? I haven’t seen much. I appreciate the hard work by the student athletes- no offense here. Just asking?

New green jerseys

Looking at Russ Horn’s photos, those new green jerseys don’t look like North Dakota football jerseys. Have to say it… Screams Canadian football league jersey to me.

Team goes as far as the D-corps + goalie this year imo. Offense should not be a problem at all - no excuses there.

This kid played one year as a freshie @ South and then a AAA team last year in Chicago, is that correct? Good height..what caused his uptake as a solid recruit, a good summer + time spent in the USA hockey Select Festival? I’m just generally curious. Alex Bump would be a very nice late additional pickup for this years squad. Could develop him into a nice 3-4 year college player. Saw a rumor tweet that there "might" be interest in UND. Overall, it would make a deeper forward roster and the Seniors minus Gaber have had plenty of opportunity imho...
