Getting back to the newest UND jersey. It would be interesting to see the volume of sales on those. I am sure jersey sales have dropped significanlty obvioulsy, since they retired the logo and went with the newer jersey now three years ago? I plan to never own one of those. Might consider buying a newer jersey with a new nickname down the road, but we shall see...

We do need Rocco next year. Just like we needed Brock Nelson the year when Knight and Kristo were seniors. The team will be good with or without Rocco, but it appears in my mind, the team will reach their goal with Rocco being on the team next year. It's that simple. If you think him leaving doesn't play a huge impact and disrupt next years team, you're delusional.

She's an attractive girl, but he could do so much better. You know that girl doesn't have a brain. There's plenty of talent out there..., surprised Toews chose a gf like that, superficial, partier, no degree etc.

Next year, I think we just load up on forwards and D. If Ausmus and Poolman have to sit out here and there, so be it. They'll get plenty of ice when they're juniors and seniors. Like I said, bring whomever in, load up. It's time to completely dominate. We have not had that luxury for the past 3 seasons due to various reasons that I don't want to list. We all know.

Best part of next year is that we'll have resources upfront and the forwards will have to compete and play with consistency or they won't be in the lineup. I say bring in as many forwards as possible. We lose Rodwell up front and that's it. Remember, Tambo left, opens an option to bring in a forward earlier and Panzeralla is a d-man not a forward. If the older freshman fowards come in and produce, Murphy, OD, Chyzk could sit here and there. We'll have enough numbers to have one grinder line with Patyn, St. Clair, Gaarder. We don't need 4 lines of that makeup next year. Mac Millian and Drake need to take huge strides next year. I expect Rocco and Parks to continue to develop. Luke needs to work on foot speed and diet this off-season. Needs to get quicker. It starts with that. I don't expect Sanderson to play one game at all. Probably a great kid, not going to get ice time. Murphy is going to have to regroup this off-season mentally and refocus. The junior class soon to be Seniors next year has been giving plenty of opportunity throughout their time at UND. If these incoming freshman step in and can produce more offense and can contribute, play them!

I would agree. There's someone else in control. Seriously, players play the game and are on the ice and obviously not the coaches. But this is just getting odd. How that last play evolved and ended too. You couldn't write a better script. Explain that to me! Dammit I am pissed!!!

So the next time UND wins a National Championship, it will be a team when one least expects it. Thought the way the season was going it was this year. Yes, they made one hell of a run and played great tonight. Tough break, hard loss to swallow. Where do you go from here? We'll be better the next two years, but will have a target and pressure on our backs. Also, the best team usually doesn't win. No problem with Hak. He's going to need a sports psychologist. Hey, at least we're not in Minnesota or BC's bracket. I like our placement. Anything can happen. I think MInnesota and BC both have a tough road to the frozen four.

It will be an interesting game. The way UND is playing they don't deserve to make the NCAA's. However, their great second half-run for the most part, deserves reward in making the NCAA tournament. I can't imagine being a player and saving your season and now your season is on the line with all that effort you put in this year. Go Sioux!

C'mon, don't be so negative. Better home series next year should help and on the brightside we'll be getting a new incoming freshman recruiting class. We'll have a strong goalie tandem next year with a great d-core. The offensive upfront can't get any worse, it can only get better. Give less student tickets away, if they're not going to use them and get the rink full. I'd rather have a complete team than a few superstars on the team. It's only going to help this year and the next two. Look how awesome the squad did last year when they relied on Kristo and Kight come NCAA tournament time? Got beat! Yes, our recruiting classes haven't been great and this year team has too much commonality, but it has to get better. If it doesn't I don't exepct a few coaches to still be coacing when their contracts are up.

When is NDSU going to move up? That's the question, right? They can beat Florida St and Bama. Bring it on!

NDSU and UND have not won a D1 football championship. Pretty sure the winner was Florida St this year and Alabama a few years in a row before that. That's the only one that matters. That JV D1 championship only matters to Fargo fans, sorry!

It will be an interesting weekend. I expect UND to split, with decent odds to sweep. Sometimes I fell the squad plays better for a 2 game series stretch on the road than at home. See the Duluth series. I just wanted UND to make the NCAA tournament a few months ago. Still do. However, with a shot to win the inaguarl NCHC regular season tournament and hardware on the line, the boys might as well wrap that up. The games will be close. The outcome of next weekend relys on 2 complete games played by UND.
