    Elaborate? I get DU will be good this year, but that team lost their 2 best forwards. The good guys (us) we lost some great defenseman and that is our weakest leak, but'll this team can score a lot of goals to make up for giving up a couple goals a game. Please enlighten me.

    I stopped at the Scheels in Fargo this week...I couldn't believe how ugly the "Fighting Hawks" logo t-shirts looked. Very bland and of course plenty of quantity as no one was buying them. However, the "North Dakota" under armour apparel while keeping off the Fighting Hawks removed anywhere on the items looked great! I'm fine moving forward, but I'll never purchase "Fighting Hawks" merchandise. It looks terrible!

    Grand Forks has a JL Beers like Fargo obviously. So the best burger in Fargo one can get in GF? I thought there would be something else for best burger in Fargo..

    Great skills and effort on the photoshop job, but honestly looking at the logo on the helmets, it looks like an 8 year found a sticker and slapped it on his helmet to be cool so that he could show his friends and be different. It just doesn't look right...

    I'm fully aware. There hasn't been any medium like this yet, though during the whole process that will fuel the conversation again. This will get more views and exposure and water cooler talk than anything else (protest, petition, letters etc.) I know it's been a long/dragging process and "some" people are tired and ready to move on. However, just wait....

    Honest question. Does anyone truly think the storm of the name and logo is done now because the logo was released? Have we forgot about 'The Unauthorized Documentary" that was Kickstarter funded? -- Going forward, once that is release (I can't wait) this topic of conversation will again be a HOT TOPIC. Just wanted to provide a refresh for people, especially people on this board and the ones writing letters to the Grand Forks Herald etc. That is all. -Sioux Forever

    Disagree. If you build it, they will come. Who says you can't modify the Fighting Hawks logo over time too? See Mankato's logo over the years.

    First and foremost, let's enjoy the championship. A big thank you to Sanderson, Chyz, St. Clair and Drake! With that said, those 4 seniors are moving on. Without talk of guys leaving early, what freshman players are expected to come in next year?

    I'd be surprised if he left after 1 year. He's not Toews or Parise level. He is good. If he likes it here, he'll be playing for at least 2 years.

    It is cheaper no question. But if you're building a "luxury" apartment and you don't have central air, that seems rather pathetic. I am in the market for a place like to upgrade to, but they will not be getting my business.

    So Cardinal Point (south end luxury aparments) they've had their up and downs but are making progress. The problem I have is they'll be overpriced and for a luxury aparment, the building does not support central air? Anyone else notice all the AC units on the exterior. That seems like a bonehead move. Thoughts?

    If they win, it'll come. Yesterday's victory was a good start. It'll be interesting to see the turnout at the Alerus Center next week. UND football has been waiting for a winner for quite sometime. I know within the last year and half I've devoted more of an interest again into UND football.

    I've ate there twice already (should only in moderation) but it's super tasty. I thought there staff was great. Go there at lunch or dinner time and the line is out the door and they do their best to keep up...it can't be easy. Going forward, if they can maintain quality staff and a manager on hand they'll do well. I will be returning for sure. I missed it. Quality and prices are fine. You can't get a sub like that anywhere else.

    And Quiznos on 32nd will be closing. Wow. How many restaurants or fast causal restaurants close in GF? Huge abundance of vacant buildings all over town. It's getting rather pathetic. Guess that happens when you don't bring businesses and jobs to the area. That's a story for another day, thoug.
