Well at least we found a solution for the Jones haters now that the Fire Jones thread is gone. Biggest week in UND basketball history and the focus is on one missed radio interview in a week where he is probably doing a dozen of them.

Yah it's a miracle we are able to recruit anyone with mistakes like that. Oh wait what about the four banners? Yes obviously something went wrong we do not know what. Did you hear KFAN say Jone's voice mail was full? I think he has a little on his plate. There are at least 50 things more important to recruiting than 7 minutes on KFAN. They get stood up all the time because things happen. Guess what UND makes the tourny next year and KFAN will be calling again.

I blame Mussman.

I think a high level meeting at UND is a little more important than defending UND on KFAN.

Well of course bi-zon nation will be cheering for The Flagship team - more than once when they were involved I heard/read that "it's good for the entire state".

Yup - just like parenting you can't take all the credit and you can't take all the blame with your kids. Amazing how when a team makes free throws in crucial sitatuations, rebounds, buries shots - they win. There are also your assistant coaches that are bringing skills and coaching to the table. This was a fantastic season - coach doesn't get all the credit and there were some very bad losses - coaches doesn't get all the blame. It all came together this year and the talent pool is looking solid for the future.

I said at the beginning a thread entitled "Fire Coach's name" is a bad reflection on the fan base and hurts recruiting, to no avail. It's fine for those who need to criticize to have an outlet but it could have a name that is less hateful.

That's my take on the Frozen Face-Off it only matters to the teams fighting for a spot, those that are a lock play with much less intensity - although that is tougher to do in hockey than other sports. With UND fighting for a higher see perhaps they go in with some intensity. I've gone three years in a row and know I haven't seen many UND wins.

One more year in the Big Sky and our super sophomores will be Jammin Juniors.

Except history has shown then every thread gets these comments.
