Had the same problem in football, every year there was one game that saved him - until it didn't happen. Individual talent seems to be our problem year after year.

IS has a UND connection in their sports dept. Met him at the football there last year. They have super low support for football right now.

I believe hockey finances had an affect at that time. It is not as simple a decision back then as some are making it now

Gotta agree. SJU makes a living picking up drop downs. School is struggling with student attendance but money for football is there.

St John's can be more attractive than NSIC especially if you consider students at that level are playing for enjoyment and a free education. Yes, they don't offer athletic scholarships, but surprising how many of their top athletes quality for academic scholarships. SJU is top 10 NAIA every year.

Pro: it's only a couple of years, it's a good life experience, there are plenty of tunnels, it's only a couple of months, you can dress for it. Agreed, Quincy became a community icon. When he saw he wasn't getting the snaps he wanted rather than the portal he asked to move to another position. He was involved in lots of non-football activities on campus and kids flocked to him. Really out of touch if you think UND wouldn't welcome another Q.

We'll take a little credit for this one. Getting to know his parents and grandmother and making sure they got the best barbeque ribs in the tailgate lot.

If it happens really hope there is no public hand wringing over a QB on the roster potentially transferring as a result. Competition and depth makes for a better team.
