  1. My over/under on the number of games I will get to this year is 9. Always enjoyable to have an adult beverage (Grain Belt if possible) with some of the parents of the players.
  2. Just my humble opinion: they cannot rush hirings just to fill spots, losing assistant coaches shows that UND is a building ground for coaching careers,
  3. So is NIL vs Alston the next dick measuring game?
  4. Depth - that's what su has had on their OL/DL over the years, it won't be long until our OL/DL is where we need it to be.
  5. I talked with an incoming UND student who is a family friend. She said in their orientation hockey was all the guide talked about for sports. The problem is inbred.
  6. As we know and most have shared "It all comes down to the O line and D line". Our line coach seems to be the real deal and our recruiting in that area has been impressive. If we can match up with their lines we can beat them.
  7. Plus the fact some of the fans were pretty cocky at half time - even though we were ahead.
  8. 7-4 is predictable, 8-3 (or better) is achievable, it would mean beating someone we will not be favored to beat.
  9. UND discussion starts at 11:25, around 14:50. when asked about Weber getting to host over UND, Patty says that there has never been a time when the higher bidding team didn't host. The host suggests that SU's Larsen did nothing to stop Weber from hosting, just to hurt UND, Patty says "Sometimes you shouldn't confuse conspiracy theories with incompetence".
  10. She definitely called him incompetent - what is she going to do about it is the follow up question.
  11. As we have learned depth is very important, injuries are going to happen. I have no issues with any of these guys being on the roster. You never know who is going to make the play - last year both 13 and 12 made some pretty big plays.
  12. Prior Lake was somewhat of a surreal experience for me. When I looked at the name tags on the table it was like a hall of fame - I would estimate about 150 former players and coaches attended. I was with the team in 77-79 and there were plenty of them there. That was Murphy's years and I believe it was 79 they went 10-0.
  13. I did too - he seems very satisfied with our backfield.
  14. As has been suggested UND should be combing the US looking for student athletes that have an interest in aviation, business, PT, medical fields. And maybe they are because if I can think of that I believe they already have.
  15. I'm not a high roller and I don't play golf, but I'm going to the social Sunday at Prior Lake. I have no doubt it will be a great event, I will feel welcomed and come home feeling confident about what's happening at UND.
  16. Loved how insightful he was as a color guy on the radio. It was like he was coaching over the air waves.

    The Herald

Facts that contradict fallacies are so hard for some.
  18. Just wait until ND lawmakers figure out how much money they are losing as their citizens cross the border for cannibas.
  19. I believe this is a trend at just about every football school in the country with a few exceptions.
  20. Big step - they are ripping the band aid off. I have no issue with this as the students on campus now have only known the Fighting Hawk as their official nickname and all teams have embraced it except for hockey.
  21. But they "bring so much to the conversations".
  22. In my experience Tim Belmore is very approachable.
  23. A successful business owner in the town near me gave six figures to Team Makers to finish their football practice facility. He did not play for them, just went there. The money flows to UND just not to football.
