This game won't happen - by not playing, su maintains the only advantage they have - the unknown. Thinking back to the last 10 years of the rivalry they were pretty confident every year they were going to win - how did that work out for them. They can't take the chance of playing UND and losing. Not real clear on how this could have been "Handled internally" as the next broadcast would have been without Ralston and questions would have been asked. Then it becomes "a coverup". I guess it goes back to the new age we live in - announcers are employees of the school they cover, they sign a contact, they know what is in the contract, they know the ramifications. Chat rooms and media can make this bigger than it is. If an employee gets suspended for something they said publicly about the company they work for it's not news in the newspaper or on the radio.

Love how when UND was invited to a western conference (that rejected their team) the trolls talked about how expensive travel would be, not a good fit geographically, hurt regional recruiting, etc. Now they are faced with a conference that is crumbling around them and starting to look west and seem to have none of these issues.

Why is it that the trolls feel that when teams buy out FU it's because they are afraid of them but when teams choose not to schedule UND (basically the same thing) it's UND's fault. Perhaps FUs arrogance, athlete criminal issues and fan reputation are catching up to them?
