Thanks for the comments everyone. @Frozen4sioux I am in Minot. I know there are a handful of outdoor rinks around town (parks and private) and I think my location at my place will be suitable.

Gosh the predictions are pretty pessimistic. I have to imagine they have sold some $5 tickets this week.

I am thinking about putting in a backyard ice rink this winter. I have done a bit of reading and on using a liner vs. not using a liner and just packing snow, etc. Does anyone on this forum do a rink? And if so, thoughts on how best to do it?

The problem ultimately goes to the choices that were allowed to be voted on. The choices all should have been: A) unique and B) specific to North Dakota. Hawks is neither.
