  1. Chicks there were too freaky, and not a good freaky.
  2. This is a good point and is true for any of the "major" conferences. Bottom-dweller SIU almost tripped up the Bison last year, and MSU did beat the Bison in 2010. There is really no weeks off for any of the elite conferences.
  3. Howard Wood Field. It used to be Augustana's home field. Alot of high school games there now I think.
  4. The only thing that could possibly directly affect NDSU is #3, and I don't really care. NDSU has been, in some shape or form, the whipping boy of the North Dakota legislature since statehood. There will be a bunch of political grandstanding and hand-wringing, and at the end of the day all of the universities will be funded similar to what they were in the last legislative session and the BoHE will still be around.
  5. Yeah, I worded that poorly. My original response to Darell was in regards to him saying every Bison win from here on out would be laced with mention of this case. No it won't. We might hear a little about it on Sunday after Youngstown just because Ojuri was suspended, but it's not like we're going to see headlines in the Forum "Bison win over Missouri St. in spite of 10 players found guilty of class A misdemeanor. This will go away faster than anybody on Siouxsports thinks.
  6. We'll just have to agree to disagree. I honestly don't think this will be brought up again in large numbers.
  7. Oh, I imagine local media will be talking about it a little bit tomorrow and maybe even later in the week. But after the Youngstown game it will be pretty much over. Even this thread had almost died until the court appearance this week.
  8. I will keep telling myself that because it's the truth. The only place it will be talked about is on this forum.
  9. No it won't. Until the "breaking" news of today, nobody was talking about it after the Bison win at UNI.
  10. The selection uses the GPI (Gridiron Power Index) in it's selection, although it is not the only determining factor. The GPI uses the FCS coaches' poll and the sports network poll, as well as 7 computer rankings.
  11. I don't think anybody has talked about completely eliminating tuition waivers. It's mainly undergraduate tuition waivers the chancellor is concerned about, and I believe he wants to cap undergrad tuition waivers at 5% of the total tuition dollars a university brings in.
  12. Ummm, since 1890.
  13. Do you have experience with Google TV or Apple TV? From my understanding, it gives you the capability of using an actual web browser and is less cumbersome than hooking a laptop up to your TV, but the reviews for Google TV have been less than stellar.
  14. Weren't Reggie Morelli and Ralph Engelstad really good friends. That's why I always thought Morelli's had the exclusive contract for the Ralph. They also have the exclusive contract for the state fair.
  15. But that was the problem, AC didn't reflect the true mission of the school. Agriculture is just a part of the mission of land grant universities.
  16. How many students does the University of Phoenix? Something like 100,000?
  17. I can't believe how there's been virtually no talk of Jake Hagler and his prospects of playing DI basketball. It seems guys like Joe Hanstad and Austin Dufault were talked about constantly.
  18. The Pioneer will probably receive an auto bid with the expansion.
  19. Did you take the over or under, and does this post count? Maybe we could talk about splitting the winnings?
  20. It seems like there's a traffic fatality/day in northwestern ND. I wouldn't let my wife drive on highway 2 between Minot and Williston right now.
  21. I'm just hoping local and state leaders have a plan to handle the increased traffic and population. And putting stoplights up and down Highway 2 does not constitute a plan.
  22. There's speculation that Berthold (population ~500) may see up to 2300 new homes in the next five years or so. It sounds like there's a developer proposing 900 homes very soon in what people are calling "phase 1".
  23. Sounds like the kiss of death.
  24. If the playoffs would have started after the UNI game, I would have really liked NDSU's chances, but we just haven't played well the last two weeks. That being said, maybe the bye week is what the Bison need and we can get on a roll.
  25. No urea at Beulah, just anhydrous and ammonium sulfate. The negative about Beulah is that the fertilizers they produce are byproducts, so they don't/won't ramp up production. A dedicated facility just to produce nitrogen fertilizer in the Northern Great Plains would be a great opportunity for somebody, IMO.
