I don't know who the team in the blue uniforms are, but it looked like the wanted to get back on the bus before the game was over! The kid is sick. Can't wait to see what he will be like after a year in the program!
-
Where did I state they will stop letting people wear their Sioux gear?
-
Nothing on this forum has really pissed me off like this has! I would much rather see Bison trolls on here, than you! A Sioux fan you are not. We are all dumber for having listened to you. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul!

This is from the recent GF Herald Q&A piece with Colten St. Clair...... Q. If you were UND’s president for a day, what two things would you do? A. Can I say bring back the Fighting Sioux logo? I’d bring back the logo, even if it was just for a day. And I’d maybe have a Red Pepper stand in the middle of campus. He is not the first and probably won't be the last to answer the question in the similar manner. That is of course if someone from the University cries foul to the Herald and has them quit asking the question! Maybe some of you holier-than-thou folks on this board should go tell Colten and the rest of our student-athletes that they need to move on like you've been preaching to us!
-
Last time I checked, this is how you spell "definitely"...... While we are at it, one seeks counsel, not council as you have stated!
-
How bout Fighting Underdogs! I like the sound of the FU's!
-
You guys that want a new nickname are right. How dare I express the FACT that the number of people that want to go with no nickname or just North Dakota as a nickname, far outnumbers any support for a lame ass nickname like Sundogs, Spirit, etc.? Thank you and the NC$$ for telling me what's best for us!
-
Terrible analogy! Not gonna go anywhere far or fast? What does that mean? We can be just like Prince. No name just a symbol; the interlocken ND symbol. "Here comes the university of North Dakota". It works now, let's just roll with it. If we have to have a nickname, it should simply be North Dakota! We will all know who we really are. It will be a way to stick our noses in the air to those PC zealots who started this nonsense in the first place.

Well said Chewey! Kelley was brought here for one reason and he is getting tired of waiting for the finish line.
-
Spot on! Per the agreement the only entity that can obtain the rights to the Sioux, aside from the university itself, is one of or both of the states Sioux tribes. Why not make a deal with the Spirit Lake tribe to sell Fighting Sioux merchandise all the while UND has ND as the "official" nickname and logo. Its kinda like a self-titled album..... Makes sense to a lot of us old alumns!

I would say keep up the good work! I have had enough of Kelley! I say no nickname works just fine. We all know our roots as do our student athletes past and present. Give licensing rights of the old logo to Spirit Lake and let them sell the merchandise. The idea of UND Sundogs is laughable and the thought of a similar such name keeps me awake at night. For those that say we must move on....we have already, we officially dropped the name. That's enough!

Tell me why Murphy is in and Colton is out?

Losing to BSU in the home opener is one thing, but getting smoked in the process is shameful. I agree with the previous poster who puts this on the senior leadership. We have been sold on lack of experience as an excuse for previous slow starts. This year what will be the excuse? They better win tonight or this thread will get big in a hurry!
-
Hak should show up to the rink tomorrow with an old beater yellow bus and tell the boys to load up and check your phones, iPads, etc. at the door. No talking for two hours on the road! Now that would be a great article to print!
-
Clowns! Waiting for the excuses for another slow start to the season. Too many upperclassman to say this is what happens with a young team. Why is St Clair not in the lineup?
-
Good sign stopping the 3 and 17. That was converted at about 50% last year.
-
Wow! Boys can't run a drive without killing themselves. Good thing RM can't hold on to the football. Simmons or Mollberg need to figure out if the handoff is going right or left. Too many penalties. Hard to watch!

Yawn..... The kids vs the spelling whiz, big donor. Time to take a vacation from this site!

SIOUX vs. GOPHERS - Thursday, F4 Philly style Gameday
Old Time Hockey replied to AZSIOUX's topic in Men's Hockey
I agree with 90% of this! I have felt way worse after other high stakes game losses. I don't really know why?? Is it because they played their tails off and just didn't get the bounce, or is it that I have become accustomed to them losing in the Frozen Four. I feel it is probably a lot of both. When it comes to Hak, I am really starting to sympathize for him. As most of you know, he is 14-4 in regional play (outstanding) and 1-6 in the F4(pathetic). I'm starting to think that he is cursed cause that is all I can come up with to rationalize his misfortunes this time of the year. Anyone it was a great run and today I am proud to be a Fighting Sioux fan! -

This is the funniest Sioux hockey video I have ever seen! I wish ESPN2 would open the game with this clip... -
UND Sorority in Trouble for Being a Sioux Fan
Old Time Hockey replied to Old Time Hockey's topic in UND Nickname
You are spot-on! This is just another example of public universities pushing a political agenda down the throats of their students. If "single-payer healthcare now", etc. banners would have been posted, the administration would have done everything in their power not to applaud them publicly. Freedom of speech is encouraged on campus' as long as it fits their agenda. Cross that agenda and you are sent to sensitivity training! -

I would love to see Kelley try to ban Sioux apparel at sporting events. That would be the end of his regime!
