Not sure I agree. Time and time again we had physical teams but found they called the games closer in the Tournament. This team has a good balance of physicality and skill/speed. Give me a team with speed that keeps its feet moving in the NCAAs.

You mean we were lucky not to get a major?
-
My thought as well. It's done. Play hockey.
-
I just hope I don't take my own life tonight listening to Olson interrupt the best play by play guy in college hockey.
-
Let's not let this topic polerize our fanbase, gents.
-
Wise not to jump at the first chance, though.

Talk from fans about what "we" must do is so easy. These kids have done well. We must appreciate that.
-
Sports fans need a little too much out of their teams' performance emotionally. When things don't go well, they go dark.

5 of 6 on the road in conference is salvage?
-
Did they show a replay. I didn't see it. I don't remember Thome looking that slow-footed .
-
yeah, I think he'll stay that way. And having Thome there will help him do it.

So what is the current balance on how many of those Scheel owes or is owed?

Christmas fruitcake. Studies show Aunt Sally's Christmas fruitcake can f ck up depth perception in young people. It can cause ED too, but we'll leave that alone for this discussion. But Karl has been through this himself and knows the antidote.

"But I''m gonna hunt down that effing, good-for-nothing ref and castrate him."
-
He'll come around. We've seen what he has, and he has Karl there with him.
-
If they can get 3 tomorrow, 5 of 6 on the road is nothing to complain about in the NCHC.
-
They did before the break but not after.
-
Mismash too, though he sometimes tries to carry the puck too much. He's been very good this year, though, and I expect that to continue.
-
That, and we want our reputation to be that we are a better finishing school for high end talent than the competition, so a short, successful transition from college to NHL is good for recruiting and an overall long-term plus. We just need to be able to recruit around those early departures and hope for few injuries.

We all know Pinto has great skills and is willing to work. I like knowing also that he has passion and intensity. Now we will find out whether he learns this lesson or has control issues. Ryan Duncan had passion and intensity too.

I think everyone agrees it was a stupid penalty. But I think it's also true that fans are willing to be more patient when the conduct is not a recurring retaliation/stupidity problem with that player. Pinto is young; we will have to see if it's a problem for him. He certainly put the team in a tough situation last night.

I was thinking the same. He hasn't shown signs of being a bonehead, and it shows hie has fire.

Where's Rhett for another so we can play 5-3

For the last two years (before this year), we've not been able to score without following with a penalty. Hope they can kill this one.
