  1. They definitely lack a player leader. It may be a challenging group to lead, but either way . . . .
  2. Seems like half their games are not on nchc tv
  3. You add a little age to a lotta age . . .
  4. Close: Mocrusher
  5. Your liver has surprised you in the past.
  6. Also, commit a penalty or give up a goal within 60 seconds of scoring a goal.
  7. If and when it's time to replace Berry, it will be easy to find people with a better understanding of what it takes to recruit elite talent and win titles. There are dozens of those on this website alone. Levity. Levity.
  8. I agree, and that is complicated somewhat by the fact that a lot of players are no longer coming to college directly from their hometown programs anymore. They live and play in another, usually larger, city to play hockey that is more competitive than they would see in HS.
  9. They were pretty bad during my undergrad years (71-75). Fans stuck with them, though.
  10. Thing is, the refs aren't put in a position to make that call if Kleven uses his head just a little bit. Just a little.
  11. Just because the guy is big and strong doesn't mean he's not allowed to use his head.
  12. Stupid stupid hit by Kleven.
  13. Also failed every drug test.
  14. I think Wilbur originally committed to Harvard.
  15. I've had a fondness/respect or Tech since I was an undergrad in the 70s, when they would come to town with some dam good teams. And big. Good to see a team with a strong hockey tradition playing good hockey.
  16. For reasons I can't back up, except to say they are big schools with moneyed alumni, the advantage they have with collective money worries me.
  17. That PP% is sick. The B1G is finally legitimately very good this year.
  18. Very cool banners, I hear.
  19. In best Jim Mora voice.
  20. Gaber's wrister on the PP from THAT SPOT has a definite Duncan feel.
  21. I'm 100% Norsky, and I could never bring myself to eat it.
  22. Miami is a very weak team, especially on offense. Even with the suspension and injuries, we should be able to beat them. Some folks are just gonna have to step up,
  23. I know most teams have similar approaches to break-out, but it seems to me that the first pass, often the first two, for UND are always to stationary targets and easy to defend.
