They really ought to be willing to pay money not to have to play them.

I've been reading here how DU recruits much better than Berry & Co. and how their young coach can relate to young studs like Rizzo, so it wouldn't surprise me if DU wins by 8 or 9 both nights. In fact, I've asked my therapist to give me a double session on Tuesday and maybe an extra one later in the week. When your ability to be happy depends completely on Sioux hockey success, you have to be prepared for misery sometimes. Oh well.

Seems he is able to tell when the opposition is skilled and quick enough to make his dangling risky, something I wondered about as recently as this season -

I don’t expect any UND fan or player to be afraid of any team, but both those conferences appear to be every bit as good as the NCHC this year (which no Sioux fan worth their salt would agree with, of course). -

They will have to be very good this year. HE and B1G are looking very strong. -
It was a clean game on both sides.

It's inevitable that teams will devise good strategies against methods that have been working, especially against 1-ranked teams. Our guys will adjust to those strategies too, given time. This team has learned a lot about themselves in a short time.

That thought has crossed my mind, though I think this is a pretty tight team. Noticed also that Perron often points immediately to primary assist after scoring. I like that kid too. He'll make some major noise for us before long.

He's starting to rush the puck out of pressure more, too. Signs of Stecher, which someone here observed a week or two ago.

beautiful setup by 4

I can attest to that in the early 70s. Coors flowed after Xmas and spring break ski vacations.

I get it now--a portal recruiting trip.

{showing my ignorance} Which Pohlkamp?

Some good one-timers

Yet, even not-so-great beavers can have a way of exciting you.

If nothing else, being ranked #1 can’t hurt recruiting -

All this. And, as you say, knowing that a very good team might not mean a banner. But it will almost certainly mean we get to see a lot of exciting hockey this year, and that's something to be grateful for. Every phase has been fun to watch this year--offense, defense, and goal tending. PP will get there--Karl has proven himself with less to work with. -
Very true, but Michigan has shown it likes to underwhelm at times. Those #1s like their nights off

Be real interesting to see how UMich/SCSU goes.

Berry should start a thread calling for the ouster of those ticket holding no-shows. A program like UND's deserves the best. Pretty soon, only grindahs will want to come.

Who coaches the kill?

This team will give us a lot of viewing pleasure this year, regardless how the tourney goes
