  1. my head would be fried
  2. Will be interesting to see what the coaches decide here. I can see them going either way on Olson, but my gut says he'll stay in the lineup for the same reasons they've put him in the lineup every game in this tourney. Assuming St. Clair is full speed and showing well in practice I think that's were I go. Experience, and give the senior a chance to go big in his last game. But Wilkie does have that ability to score, so would understand that as well. I would guess if they need 2 forwards it's those two over Wolanin. Our D is so good even if 1 gets hurt they can play the other 5 enough to cover. They can rest all summer
  3. it's sarcasm. Several posters were ripping the team for not caring more that weekend. I was not one of them
  4. Hard to believe this is the same team that didn't give a crap about it's fans at the Frozen Faceoff
  5. HAHA! That's awesome. Great memory.
  6. Wait a minute now. I'm feeling good about BC getting beat, and now you're telling me I can't feel good about that? I'm not sure which end is up now....
  7. Agreed, I thought the officiating was much better than we have historically considered it to be in the national tournament. Hope that continues. And if I may dare say, I thought UND got away with some stuff occasionally.
  8. I highly doubt Montgomery was seriously challenging Berry to go mano-a-mano. Probably having some fun.
  9. I'm ok right now but this is going to be a nerve-wracking evening. I'm expecting a nail biter and possible heart attack. Just hope they get to play again on Saturday.
  10. Missed nickname opportunity? Fighting Pirates?
  11. No, she made herself look dumb.
  12. She's already apologized to the ROTC commander, the one to whom she was out of line. Unless she insulted or spoke poorly of the ROTC students/members, or students of the university as a whole, why should she have to apologize to them? (I will apologize if I don't recall all of the what she said at the time, but I don't recall her being critical of the ROTC members directly)
  13. They weren't very good?
  14. I bet it won't take that long
  15. Human beings......the good side.
  16. Ok, so my jinx worked. I picked NU to win the whole thing. Now Jim needs to let me create a new bracket picking Michigan to win the whole thing........
  17. I really don't have a big problem that she called 911 the first time. A sensitive person might have an unusual reaction when they first see it. But once you get an explanation, I think a reasonable person says "oh, thanks, I feel a lot better now" and drop the matter right there. No issue with the initial reaction, but the follow-up is quite over the top IMO.
  18. Thanks for taking me back. Great job! same
  19. HAHA, how true! I'm not even sure this is a wacko leftie as much as she is just a willing "victim" of, I'm guessing, just about everything.
  20. I don't know much about the dynamics involved in this conference affiliation, but i agree with you. What we're seeing is an aberration, and eventually things will change as fans get used to the teams in their conference, and forget about the "old rivalries".
  21. This is where I was going too, SJHovey (same as InHeavenThereIsNoBeer). I have no idea but sometimes I wondered if that long desperate grind in the 2nd half taxes a team enough that, once they get in, there's a bit of a mental let-down in intensity. Every team is different and every situation is different. I don't know enough about NU's season to make much of a guess.
  22. Welcome Hhound. Curious, does your goalie know his girlfriend's pregnant? If not, someone should tell him on, say Friday morning.
  23. No, he'll hop a ship at the Grey Havens and sail to the Undying Lands
