i agree

This is how I feel too. If I'm willing to go to Mankato or St. Cloud to watch UND play a couple of games, what could be so wrong with Target Center? I agree with most people that the X was a better facility and I'd like to see it back there. But it's still a couple of meaningful UND hockey games and I'll still enjoy them. I think the worst thing about the new Target Center is the less than exciting performances by our favorite hockey team there.

Agree with others this is a sucky way to finish a championship game like this. Also sucky that after this much drama the game is lost on a flubbed attempt.

Hennessey just said the team knew Hockey Canada wanted their team all together today, last night.

We know how provincial Canada can be about hockey, and how big of a deal this tournament is. As good as Jost has been playing, would it be a surprise if Canada didn't want Jost playing another game against the WMU gorillas? I mean, you just have to read Schlossman's recent article about how beat up the boys are after a weekend tournament and I don't think it's any big surprise of CA said "uh, we've got a flight for you tonight. Sorry, you're going to have to miss that last game." I'm not ripping the story in the paper, I'm just using that to illustrate what Canada already knows, and probably what they fear. Agree, spca0305, this just gives a chance for some other guys to show their....quality.

Games like last night have one scratching their head, but i think the key comes down to "it's one game" and any team can be up and down. We've seen UND put in some pretty decent games the last few weekends and some not so great. Could be we found that sweet spot where our boys were on top of their game and SCSU just wasn't quite ready for one game. I agree with you...I bet we see a different SCSU team tonight.

What a nice effort by the good guys. SCSU called off classes today and their hockey team looked like Motzko called them a half-hour before game time and said "where ARE you guys?"

Geez, this made me laugh out loud. Glad i wasn't trying to drink anything when i saw this.

Especially impressive given Poolman was out.

hate 'em Regarding Tomek, i think either Schlossman or Hajdu said on the live chat tonight he's listed as the 3rd goalie. I would guess the reason Tomek's not getting a chance in net is that Hrynkiw is ahead of him on the depth chart, for whatever reason that might be. But I'm guessing it's not because the coaches hate Tomek.

Yep, he's going to make Lucia eat some crow regarding this rivalry in time. Agreed. If the team plays games like they played tonight they will win most of their games this year. Post game Berry and Tim agreed Gersich might have been the best forward for the weekend, and Bowen had his best game of the year tonight. Positive signs all around.
