Excellent observation here. I have mostly seen the angle from the other side of the rink, and I have understood the argument that Poganski was not ahead of the defender when this play was made. From the angle in the video above, the angle from which the referee saw this action, it looks much more clear Poganski was about to walk the Dman and get to the net clean.

Watching the end of the UNO/WMU game on DirectTV, and lots of buffering type issues on my TV. Not seeing the same on any other channel. Anyone else seeing similar? Would have liked to have avoided this since I'm not watching on my computer......very distracting

Thanks for putting that all together. Still room to be concerned, IMO, with SME....If you look at many of their college logos it's pretty run of the mill stuff. BC's eagle, Louisville's cardinal with teeth, the cartoonish characters in many of them. Will hope this low price proposal doesn't necessarily mean we're getting an off the rack solution.

I agree with you here, on this. Frustrating for law abiding citizens. Agree with this too. Police have a very difficult job and it's become too easy to judge them from a distance. Unfortunately there are abuses of power that feed into these perceptions. Can't blame them for last night, though.

I'm with you. As much as I have affection for the P-40 War Hawk (one of the first books I pulled out of the Milbank Carnegie Library as a youngster was a book about Claire Chennault's Flying Tigers, and I promptly built a model P-40), I just don't get the association here.

Unreal no call. BTW, I didn't watch much of last night's game or today's game, but from what I did see, man, Penn State has some learnin' to do in the d zone.
