I was very nervous at that game. We had never won the WCHA post-season in that final 4 format, and after 10 years of watching Gophers and Badgers I was very ready for a win. Most of my Farce friends had the same view. Most anyone who met him knew his coaching and leadership skills were off the charts.

I have felt for a while that it looked like the coaches were "playing out the string" for a while now. The fast time on the posting strongly suggests there's a candidate in mind, with some discussions btw AD and Candidate. So I could also surmise that Berry et al found out about those discussions ...
