I'm guessing we will be the second game of the afternoon session. The Northwestern game is big storyline and I would guess they will be on in prime time. The VCU St. Mary's game is a nice match up to start the day, so we will end up 2nd game. That will probably be the final game of the early batch so will the ending will be unopposed. Hopefully we do something that is worthy of the whole country watching.

And Arizona has done it against Coppin St.

Just want to give a salute to Weber State as a worthy adversary. We have had several great postseason matchups in our short time in the Sky and that program is no doubt the measuring stick. Having a clear target has helped make the UND program better. Hope we meet again next year in Reno and that we can still continue the series once UND is in the Summit.

They need to work on putting teams away. I know UNC us good but this game shouldn't have gone down to the wire.

Womens hockey can win a national championship and produce Olympians. That is a level of media exposure the other two cannot reach. With better marketing it has revenue potential. Cutting it would be like cutting womens basketball in the mid 80s. I do think a coaching change is probably due.

No reason that UND wont play the Bears as a frequent nonconference game. Same possibility with the Montana schools.

It is? Teams have down periods. UND did. Does that somehow minimize Lake States great teams during that time frame. Michigan ran out on the wcha when they were no longer relevant. They dominated a CCHA where the league catered to them. Now they are struggling in the big 10. College hockey is just fine. Id much rather see success at hockey schools like st lawrence and clarkson.

They've also only played 5 road games this year.
