Teeder's 7 keys to a happy Saturday 1. Control the lines on both sides -- hope for usual second half surge. 2. Establish the run ... probably w/ Skokna as they'll key on Weah (bonus if it's there for Otis, too) 3. Play action and quick hitters/screens to keep front 7 honest. 4. Need to block CBs way better on the edges. 5. Play with confidence, presence and intelligence -- not too high, not too low. 6. No bone-head drive killing penalties (false starts, chop blocks, illegal procedures, too many men, etc.) 7. Special teams excellence on offense and defense.

Looks like Roach was waiting for UND to commit to Coach Bernhard.
-
A link will be sent (this morning) to media members wishing to attend the press conference and ask questions of Bernhard, Chaves, per UND Athletics.

Still a lot of days out but my weather app currently forecasts 48 degrees and a 40 percent chance of rain in Macomb on Saturday.

As long as were peeking into next fall.... how do the Utah State Aggies (our FBS matchup) look going into 2021?

Wright's full bio at Fighting Hawks.com still makes the hair on my neck stand up as to what's to come. And two more coming in this fall who don't look to shabby. Wright: One of the best wide receivers in the history of high school football … A four-year letterwinner for Regent Prep … Finished with the most receiving yards in the state of Oklahoma in 2016, 2017, and 2019 ... Earned district player of the year honors in 2018 … Named a finalist for offensive player of the year by the Tulsa World … Finished his career with 276 catches for 6,227 yards and 112 touchdowns … The 112 touchdowns are a national record for receiving.

Correct. Believe both are nursing injuries. Nit sure how mild or serious.

Miller talked up the New Rockford Rocket plenty during camp. And Miller was correct.

This, without seeing a hint of Elijah Beach yet this season. Pierre has looked good, too.

Raises hand. (thinking the exact same thing)

My crew had a nice breakfast at the Tav followed by Bloody Marys and then some beers. Started at 9 am. Before we knew it it was game time!

Why the qualifier related to money? You simply asked for another former student athlete who had a building named after them.. and then added a strange addendum that Ralph didn't count. Maybe they're honored for both -- philanthropy and atheltics. Who cares? It's a good news story whether Hajdu thinks so or not. And long overdue in either case.... as long as Hajdu's not the one saying it, right?

Challenge accepted. On July 17, 1981, the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education officially changed the named of the (UND) Fieldhouse to the Hyslop Sports Center in honor of W. Kenneth Hyslop, a UND baseball player from 1904-06....

Sounds like there’s more talk of UND over there than SIU. Are they confused who their opponent is this week?
-
No, don't get me wrong. I'm curious, too. Can you find out?

Nice story on #21. http://blogs.und.edu/und-today/2021/02/jacob-odom-finds-his-voice-at-und/

My worry is, excuses or not, SIU was truly hampered by inclement weather and lack of practice time. Their coach indicates that was the case, while at the same time, saying he's not about excuses. I don't know about SDSU's practice situation --indoor, outdoor or what -- but this week feels different to me regardless. They have a young QB, too, and a solid D as well. There RB looks tough but I think our DBs and LBs can cover their big TEs and WRs. It comes down to the push on both sides of the line, as usual. Brockstar, where are you??
