The team has already proven it can lose games it shouldn't. I also don't know how many games we will be favored in. Wins are a must from here on out. Not having a bye the whole way could be a factor. It's going to be a tough but fun two months.

Nothing is guaranteed but I don't think it's a secret that the running defenses we see after the game next week are not going to be tops in the country. That should help the offense. Defense should be good enough to keep us in most games. They have been so far. No reason to think different.

That is a tough loss. Not leaving much room for error here on out. Whatever Studrud does at halftime, he needs to do before the game starts. He had a great two and a half quarters. Defense played well. Next week vs. USD is no give me but is a must win.

I'm not confident we see our first win this week. We don't match up well with these offenses, I don't see our offense performing well in a shootout game.

I don't see Montana moving to the WAC with 6 of the current schools in it. I also don't see the Big Sky schools left accepting those schools. The theory blows up right there for me.

Why haven't the folks with NDSU ties on the board step up? Should be easy for them to call this out.

If the people in Fargo have a problem with it a good start would be voting Al Carlson out of office. It was fine when UND was his/their target though. Where was the support for higher ed than?

I always find it funny that the western legislatures are always brought up but the biggest anti higher ed state employee gets reelected in Fargo every year and is a NDSU grad. He has stayed out of the news lately but has historically been the ring leader for the fight against higher ed.

I don't completely disagree with what he said but it's funny coming from a school who president flip flops on decisions depending on fan base reaction. A true politician no doubt.

OL has to get going and our offense needs to be 120-150 yards rushing/game. I trust what the coaches are doing recruiting and it's not due to lack of effort we don't have a "burner".

Need to be sure the QB gets who ever is at WR the ball. Burners are great and needed but 10-15 yard completions will work. Some TE Sean routes. QB just needs to deliver.

Not true. A former o line coach who became head coach didn't leave much in terms of quality olinemen. Also, one of the best athletes last year was put on the oline as a true fr. No one could have saw him leaving.

Name me a team with 4 new o-linemen that hasn't struggled out of the gate. That is a lot to replace.
