I don't know. Going back to 2012 you yourself have rumored them going anywhere from the Sunbelt, CAA and the WAC. At one time you mentioned something about Tressel pulling out all the stops to get them FBS and said a poster from another board with Idaho sources said they were as good as gone.

And YSU leaving could be the reason UND is suddenly being discussed by the MVFC. I'd argue SIU as they are no better than most of the Big Sky.

It has taken some time but I think we are just starting to see things develop in the Big Sky in the form of some rivalries. When you enter a new conference and are a doormat no one really cares but sitting in the Alerus this year in section 215, teams really want to beat UND. It is going to take games like the NAU game and fans will get excited as well. I wouldn't mind being in the same conference as the other Dakota schools but outside of those three we will be starting over with UNI and everyone east. Gothmog it took a sideline fight and a couple years for the rivalry to get developed between UNI and NDSUI. Until that point it was just another game for UNI. The SDSU game is a rivalry because of time. The other schools don't like NDSU because of their success and that is where UND needs to get in the Big Sky. This year was the first step in that, now the challenge will be to sustain this success which will not be easy. I really feel the biggest revenue boost would come from the Olympic sports moving to the Summit. There you have name recognition in NDSU, SDSU, USD, Denver and Omaha. However, again I feel like challenging Montana and Weber for success will drive that interest for MBB. Women's basketball just has to continue to win.

One would think they would but unfortunately the country continues to cater to people like this all through their lives and I don't see this changing as their votes are too important to lawmakers
-
Possibly. I'm not sure they will lose this weekend although I did predict that USD would win one of their last two games vs. SDSU or NDSU.
-
I think if NDSU lost and everyone below them (besides C Ark) won, NDSU would simply drop to #3 or #4 and EWU and J'ville St. would be the #1 and #2 seeds with UND or SDSU sliding into #8.
-
And Missouri St, Indiana St and Southern Illinois are different how? Arguement can be made for every conference.
-
Let's say everything falls into place this weekend with Richmond and Central Arkansas losing. Does the committee go the NDSU vs SDSU rematch or the UND vs NDSU storyline for who gets seeded #7 & #8.
-
And SDSU got run over by a middle of the road Big sky team. Same SDSU that beat FU. Do you have a point?
-
How did the MVFC do vs the Big Sky this year head to head?
-
The same USD that beat UNI?
-
It appears we are the only sure win next week.
-
Still have to win the games on the schedule. Back to quality losses.
-
What is even more catchy is the entire list will be back next season.
-
Slowed down, it's hard to prove that ball went forward vs straight up in the air.
-
Five times this year they apparently have not been "on top of their game". Or maybe they have been and gotten beat.
-
It wasn't that they couldn't throw, they just didn't try. They could have named the score.
-
Pity party? We are stating facts about the Big Sky vs. MVFC this season. You know, like your game vs Cal Poly which you lost
-
UNI is 0-2 vs the Big Sky this year. Got their wins vs MVFC teams.
-
Last year it was results. Moving the goal posts again. MVFC is a very good league with teams that would/will present huge challenges to UND should they face one. I'm just staying consistent to last season that OOC performance is worth something. Last year the Big Sky didn't compete and didn't get a seed. Not the case this season. Results
-
Outside of NDSU one could argue the MVFC is slightly over rated so their are a few more top 25 opponents by voters. Last year it was all about head to head vs other conferences. Why not this year?
-
Big Sky is the better conference head to head.
-
That's not how the committee works. They also look at the quality of losses.
